A pleasure to watch that Paul. I didn't know what to expect but what we got a real treat. Love old cart bridges like this. Yeah, if only we could hear the conversations. They certainly wouldn't have seen a super high way like that in the future. What a contrast but it was a pre-cursor. And how good was that - the dog. Lovely. Thanks for sharing. Mark

Hi Paul, I have heard of Pont Dafydd, and it's in line with the foot bridge over the A55. Where the Afon Clwyd use to flow, and I know the river was diverted around Rhuddlan when the castle was built. It was last year I watch a video on you tube about this bridge by historian I can't remember her full name Erin Lloyd..... I'm not sure if she was from Bangor University or Glyndwr university in Wrexham, knowing me probably another university. only a shot clip about 5 or so mins it is a good video. I hope you had a good walk a nice day for it and you found a new friend. Made me laugh when you said A55 you get to Wrexham. The A55 is a good road but not in holiday season that's when I don't use it I rather got through St Asaph Denbigh and Ruthin straight down the A525 or for Mold A541. I wonder how hot it was in St Asaph it was 26c in Wrexham today. Great video I do love our North Wales history no mater where,Denbigh, Caernarfon ,Flint ,Conwy ,St Asaph , Bangor, Dolgellau or Wrexham Have a good rest of the week, catch you on Saturday Take care
