Visiting Norway for the First Time!
In this video, we take you on a journey to Norway during the winter, where we stayed for over a month. We were fortunate enough to stay with Jon's lovely family, who all live within a 10-minute drive from each other outside of Oslo, and we were able to borrow a car to travel around. Throughout our stay, we tried various traditional Norwegian dishes, including meat cakes, sheep head, fårikål and lots more. We went on various family activities, including a trip to a cottage in Sweden, ice fishing, and go-karting, and lots of family quality time. During our stay, we also went sightseeing in Oslo, did lots of other typical Norwegian things such as skiing and Christmas concerts, and we also went on lots of other trips which have been made into separate videos, such as curling, dogsledding, northern light, igloo ice hotel and more. Overall, we provide a glimpse into Norwegian culture and lifestyle through our experiences with Jon's family, and we hope you'll like it.

Jon: Thank you so much Chris! Sweden is amazing and I definitely need to take her on numerous other travels to the beautiful country in the future. As a child we used to have a boat and travel down the Swedish west coast, which I reminisce about very fondly. Have to make her experience that and lots more 🙏 Thanks again for the kind comment!

I loved your video. You are a cute coupple 😀💜 You have to visit Bergen. Go up to Fløyen or Ulriken or even between them. Or you can take Fløybanen or Ulriksbanen up an go down. You where tough eating smalahove but did you like it 🤣 The banan food you eat i remember from my childhood, but agree it is soooo sweet. Did she lije Pinnekjøtt or Ribbe for christmas dinner?

Polly: Thank you so much! And yeah, Jon has told me about Bergen and it sounds and looks amazing. We were thinking of maybe going there next we’ll be in Norway in the summer. Or would you recommend winter? Haha Smalahove was good actually! Pinnekjøtt and ribbe was also not bad, but I felt a bit too salty for me! Thanks again for the kind words!

Jon: Haha I should have. I feel ashamed. Next time I promise! Though, that being said, I made her do a skinny dip in the snow on our arctic trip to the north of Norway. Not as cool as polar plunge, but fun too!
