@@michael7054 Idk… my gut is still telling me Sean and him might go to England as well for a long overdue reaction to The Smiler and the rest of Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, and the above mentioned Blackpool. Other UK subscribers are giving the gentle push🇬🇧 So we’ll see what happens and just do our part to fund all of them🇨🇳

@morganmcmahon3021 he wants to go to Japan and South Korea too I think. Which that would he so good of a trip. I'd rather see him go to Japan and South Korea than China. Might be safer too. U.K. would be very nice with the unique coasters like Saw the ride, Swarm, The Smiler, Nemesis, ect.. That would be a very good series of Vlogs too like Japan and S.K. we'll have to wait and see what happens. I know I'll be watching next summer. I even think him and Sean's 50 minute Mexican Vlog from 2 years ago in the summer was a really good Vlog too. I've watched it twice with it being 50 minutes long or so is good.

@@michael7054 That vlog was very good. I definitely believed Marc from our first conversation that Sean is indeed fluent in 日本語 when he was eating sushi and him crying over the wedding was endearing. Agreed, those vlogs will be superb. The long awaited ride of ええじゃないか, Everland, probably Tokyo Disneyland, as well as other parks in Japan. Don’t even get me started on Steel Dragon 2000🐉😭 It’s definitely not every day that your name also shares one with a roller coaster manufacturing company and that’s the last Morgan credit for him.

As someone who has SFNE as my home park, I agree with a lot of your thoughts on the park. It’s a good six flags park, for sure. But if they can improve their supporting depth and fix up some of the park issues that it has, it would be quite a bit better. But as is, I do like SFNE and I’m glad that you had a fun time there.

Same man. Let me float you this idea, curious to another local’s thoughts. Scrap flashback, build a multi launch over the cartpaths between Goliath and Flashback plots, use the Goliath station, theme is to Crackaxle Canyon and give the area it’s first MAJOR ride. Adds a launch, eliminates an clone, gives a neglected area of the park a new facelift for people to enjoy. Intamin, S&S, and Mack would all be my first companies to partner with based on track record lately, but this is my dream scenario

@@mattjohnson8266yeah that would be awesome and I agree SFNE is a good park. I had a lot of fun when I visited but aside from their top 3, the coasters aren’t very good and some areas can use a little work.

@@mattjohnson8266 Flashback needs to be removed. There used to be a log flume ride instead of that path called ShipWreck Falls. Loved that ride. Would be a neat idea if they built a new launch coaster with a themed restaurant featuring an indoor coaster flyby through the restaurant.

Great video, another 5-star of 5-star classic. I felt the float on the Superman POV. I love the lighting package this park has on the flats, especially Tomahawk. I love how Six Flags has the DC theming, but you'll find random ACE Landmarks in the park as well like Thunderbolt here and at other parks - Wild One, Comet, & Great American Scream Machine. I love old with the new on a ride roster. Good work my man!

It seems it’s been running fast every time i’ve ridden it! I guess I keep on getting lucky with Wicked Cyclone 🤷🏻‍♂️

As an enthusiast since 2013, I've been going to this park forever. I unfortunately missed my chance to visit this summer cuz of frequent inclement weather. This park definitely needs a new major ride, especially after losing Goliath and Fireball. Hopefully 2025 is the year cuz it sounds like they were shut out on a new for 2024 ride. Plus some overall park improvements would greatly appreciated.

Cool vlog Marc. Never been on Wicked Cyclone, but have ridden the OG Riverside Cyclone with the original drop and it was a holy sh*t ride back then. Superman ROS was in my top five for a long time. Unfortunately I have not been to SFNE since 07. Living in Ohio since 09 has made it extremely difficult to get back there. I always had a soft spot for SFNE, even more than my original home park of SFGAdV. Now Cedar Point has been my home park since 09, but I do enjoy Kings Island more. Have a great day Marc.

I remember going here as s as young child with my brothers,decades ago 😮 Although back then it was called Riverside Amusement Park. Six flags revamped the park working with what was already there, so maybe why it’s lacking in some areas. They didn’t start from scratch with a blank slate 11:41

As my "home away from home" park I've grown to love Six Flags New England- even if it is far from perfect. Those top two will have me coming back whenever I'm in the area, without question! Great video as always brother! 🤘

Wicked cyclone is way under rated it's a top 10 rmc

Granted I only have 34 total credits, but Wicked Cyclone is my favorite coaster of everything I've ridden.

I got to visit this park for the first time this year and got to make two trips and I absolutely love this park! My favorite ride would have to me wicked cyclone 🌀 and Superman was my second intamin hyper coaster I love that ride. Not wild about the restraints. This parks a hidden gem 💎 great blog. I can’t Waite to go back

Great video as always! The top 2 there is so good! I was just wondering, are you ever going to be able to get around to riding Dr Diabolicals Cliffhanger and Steel Curtain, like next year maybe ? I was just curious, thats all. Your US coaster credit list is definitely very impressive now, just missing a few like those i just mentioned.

Superman ran awesome this year! Night rides were great this year. Also Wicked Cyclone ran fast this year and the double down in the front hit so hard I had a bruise on my thigh from it!

Cyclone must have had a remake. I dont remember that thing ever having corkscrew moments. It was always just a wooden coaster if I remember correctly

Today was the worst visit I've had to my home park which is that Park. Superman broke down for like so long because a bearing was wearing out and it was sleeping so bad.

I agree I live in NH and the six flags at New England is so much fun especially the Superman is so much fun all of you guys should try it the only part is scary is going up like the first part and then the first drop so all of you guys should try it out sometime.

Wicked Cyclone looks great. Have some other trips on the agenda for 2024 though! Ugh lol

I love this park. Batman was my first ever ride with an inversion. Unfortunately, I've gone there 5 times from Canada, and it was always raining.

@@CoasterDash yes, definitely, but it was never really bad enough weather. Superman was down once that I can remember, but I don't know if it was due to rain. I got to ride all coasters there, but all but one of my visits were before they RMCd Cyclone, so things may have changed since then.

As someone with SFNE as my home park, I am sad with how much is being lost from parks, prices going up, etc…

It’s amazing that so far I’ve only visited here once - and Superman was closed all day - even though I live in NYC and used to live very close in Connecticut.

Wow it’s been a fat minute since I have been to Six Flags New England I’m pretty sure I went in I believe 2008 or something like that so it’s been a while when I went Superman was called bizarro but it was still just as good I’m pretty sure I honestly don’t really remember that much. Lol. but yeah we did do it a few times I think three or four times and by the way did you do any of the haunted houses? Or is it not really your type of thing?

did this park this summer, did this hershey and dorney, unfortunately wicked cyclone was the only operating rmc in the trip due to a certain one having downtime, but I have got to say wicked cyclone delivered when I Was there, its such a good ride, superman was amazing but i think the spaghetti bowl is a little overrated, but still so fun

I heard that the heart lining is not the best on Superman the Ride at Six Flags New England because you can see on the second airtime hill the front car jerks up. At the first helix you can see the roller coaster shifting side to side. The second helix you can also see the roller coaster jerking up and down.

There is no heart lining on Superman. The entire ride is centerlined around the track for some reason.

They slowed down the lift on Wicked Cyclone due to the fact that it was absolutely cranking this year. Absolutely vicuous little bastard when it wants to be.

My home park is Canobie, but Six Flags New England is the closest thing I have to a home *big* park. It's interesting how its reputation has gone from low-tier to mid-tier in the chain, I think largely because of Wicked Cyclone--now it has two coasters worthy by themselves of a pilgrimage to the park, instead of one. (Batman: TDK is indeed a solid ride, but not one that attracts special attention. I think most enthusiasts would have preferred a Batclone invert there instead.) The atmosphere of the place (under Six Flags) suffers by comparison to smaller New England parks like Canobie and Lake Compounce, but for the Six Flags chain, it's maybe not bad--there's still a bit of the old Riverside visible on the midway. Thunderbolt is sometimes described as a relocation of the Cyclone from the 1939-40 New York World's Fair. It's a little more complicated than that: I looked up photos of the World's Fair coaster, and the layout was a mirror image. But there was another coaster with this layout built at San Francisco's 1939-40 Golden Gate Exposition, and that one had the orientation of the Thunderbolt. So in that sense, it's closer to the San Francisco one than the New York one. It originally had the actual trains from the NYC one, though, and *maybe* the track. I thought it wasn't that rough when I rode it this summer. Might have been the seat.

They couldn't put a Batclone in because of the SLC that Premier Parks put in during their ownership. If not for Riddler's (the artist formerly known as Mind Eraser), I'd bet my house that we'd see a Batclone where Batman is now.

Superman was hauling ass this summer, everyone was in the water park and the ride was walk on.

If you look at the POV of Six Flags New England's video of Superman the ride you can see the transitions are quite bumpy on the video.

This park looks actually kinda cool. How would Superman compare to something like EGF? I like the park tho gives off like a big nostalgic fare feeling

Wicked Cyclone is a top 40 coaster out of 785 ridden. I think it ranks somewhere in the middle for RMC’s and towards the top for the small scale ones.

i hate the restraints on superman best ride in my opinion is cyclone

STOP mentioning launch coasters!!! Do your homework and you'll see that because of the town, it would take too much electricity for them to operate even a small launch coaster. They know everyone wants one. They would have installed it by now. I used to work maintenance for them and believe me, they hate it when people say they want one without doing their homework first. For instance, look at the power one takes. Do you really think a park in that small town could handle it? Flashback is probably gone next year. They had to appeal for a year extention on its life just to legally use it this year. We'll see what happens.

Interesting. I wouldn't expect that to be a problem for Agawam. Aside from the power issue, what other reasons are there for SFNE not getting a launchy boi? EDIT: Hang on, Lake Compounce operates Phobia and Bristol has like no power either.
