me, my brother and sister worked at this great landmark back in the early 70's when we were all of 11,12 and 13. We were paid with food and soda, shaved ice and all the free pool we wanted and i am sure we were thrown a few sheckies . Every second week in august we would pack up the station wagon and head for our cottage that my mother rented without fail for 30 years. We spent all our day on the beach and our afternoons helping the Colucci family with whatever needed done. i know its different now cuz i get sent pics from a family friend who travels from Springfield, Ma just to re-hash all the memories from a great place and era. I live in Seattle now but plan to visit the next time i get back to Springfield. Great video. adam---eddie--kathy
