Visiting LONDON? TOP FREE THINGS TO DO! (England, UK Travel Vlog) 🇬🇧

Welcome to London! We've visited the English capital many times over the years so decided to skip the main attractions this time and focus on more of the local, unique areas of the city. In this vlog we start day 1 with breakfast in Sth Kensington before making our way to Hyde Park for some dog watching, visit "Little Venice" and check out all the quirky house boats, pop over to Paddington for a very interesting artwork display and finish with a beer at a traditional local pub in Battersea (the area we stayed).
Day 2 kicked off with a coffee at the Pear Tree Cafe in Battersea Park, followed by the Borough Markets, St Dunstan Hill in the East church ruins, strolled past a very impressive swimming pool in the sky and finished (surprise surprise at another little local English pub called The Anchor). Of course lots of food was consumed along the way, although we did unfortunately miss out of the Sunday roast we had planned (which we will save for another famous northern English city).
We absolutely LOVE London and will most certainly be back.
Also, a big hello and thanks to Brooke for the coffee catch up!
We hope you enjoy this walking tour vlog of London!

Red phone boxes out in small towns and villages are often turned into other things like book swaps, not used for rubbish!

Yeah we noticed this on our travels over the Uk. We really like them when they where turned in to vertical gardens, much nicer than the ones in London..

If you are ever back by Borough Market and want to visit a unique place go to The Old Operating Theatre. It is really interesting and the staff are brilliant at telling the history.

Thanks so much Colin! ☺️ We really like staying in the areas surrounding Hyde Park (Sth Kensington in particular), Paddington, Notting Hill. Fulham is also great. We would avoid Covent Garden, Westminster and Soho as these are extremely busy areas, however might be ideal if its your first time as they're quite "central" with most of the tourist attractions. Having said all that, when we return, we'd stay in the Battersea/Clapham area as they're quieter and more residential than the above mentioned (in our opinion anyway). The public transport system is excellent so its very easy to get around. Have a wonderful time in London, its a BRILLIANT city ☺️
