Šilalė district was barely known to me before this visit, even though it is quite big. I've known from before that it has great rivers for kayaking, such as Jūra and Akmena, but not much more. This time I was impressed by Medvėgalis hill, the tallest one in Samogitia, the whole surrounding area was just so picturesque, I'll have to come back for a bike ride there 🚴🏼‍♀️
