Visiting Biloxi and Gulfport Mississippi
On this trip we visited Biloxi and Gulfport Mississippi. We had a chance to try a couple of the most recommended places to eat, places to see, and local events like the Mardi Gras Parade! Half Shell had awesome Royal Red Shrimp and a oyster appetizer that is a must-try. The infinity Buffett at Treasure Bay Casino serves whole lobster three times a week, for under $45. I love our Coast, which is only about 2.5 hrs. south of my home in Florence, MS. We came down every summer during my childhood and we come every chance we get! I love the food, the people, the shopping and the entertainment. I was there the day before Katrina hit. The Hard Rock Casino had just opened that weekend. It was a year before we decided to drive back down. It was heartbreaking to see peoples' belongings still scattered on the beach and the water. So many of the great landmarks were gone, but 17 years later it looks wonderful!

It was a wonderful place to visit! I hope to come back again in the near future and visit more of this beautiful coast line. Everyone was so friendly as well!

I love the fact that I read all these comments how much everyone loved Biloxi and the rest of the Mississippi Coast! They’ve come a long way especially after Katrina. Yes, it’s not the same but nothing ever is anymore.

Wow! I have not seen or been to Biloxi, Mississippi in years (since 2005). I miss Mississippi and I will be looking forward to visiting Mississippi eventually.

I am a musician in Tampa Bay Florida, Some friends from New Orleans are starting a non profit in Biloxi this coming year, they want me to be there as an artist in residence.
