Yes, br i also watching. Poor man heart are good better than rich man heart.poor man have a few money, eating good but rich lot of moneybut they do,nt eat mind satisfied & selfies. I am Bangladeshi br.

You are a real traveller. Most foreign travelers are visiting Sri Lanka, Staying at Luxury hotels, having super meals, travelling by luxury vehicals. When free education was first suggested many protested. Now,we reap the benefits of an educated class. England has some free education. Some poor areas in England have teachers who do not bring out the best in our young. I cannot imagine a child from such a poor background achieving so many cups in football. Once they pass primary school the kid will be demoralised enough to give up sport. Having said that there English kids achieve more in the Olympics than Sri Lanka ever has. So,who is doing better?

So nice to see how people live. Immigration laws should be removed the world over. If they were removed, people can go freely to different countries and see how people live. They can then come back and make their home where they feel comfortable.

We also were welcomed to our driver's family,they lived in similar surroundings. In fact the driver's sister in law was a seamstress and made 4 dresses for my wife. Money does not made one happy,welcoming and generous

I've heard that people of Trincomalee are very hospitable, This is the first time I've seen. its so heart warming to see that poverty is no barrier for their hospitality. This shows the level of hospitality Sri Lankans have. Thank you The Last Traveller you've probably gone to places in Sri Lanka where most of us wouldn't have.

I am sinhalese and I have many muslim and tamil friends we visit each others homes for dinner..its so lovely to live together ..Mr you have to taste "watalappan"(desert) Muslims so clever to prepare it..

I traveled to Sri Lanka and was hosted by a simple but generous Muslim family, love and respect others, you see their love in their eyes, although their economic condition is weak, but they are clean in themselves, I love the Sri Lankan people and I love Sri Lanka .. Saudi Arabia

We were happy to be the guests in their home. This is the unforgettable experience lasting forever! This experience is much better than visiting museums, swimming on the beaches or observing the ancient stones. This experience is incomparable with ordinary travel attractions. Temples, museums and architecture are nothing comparing with people. Temples and museums are dead subjects that cannot speak but people are alive! Ordinary travel attractions are nothing, people are everything. Yes, I like the ocean and I like to swim but it is not the tourism it is just the leisure. The water is just the water nothing more.

Most foreigners shy away from visiting those places where common people live. Great on you, Belarus man, to visit them and interact with the people. Greater gesture by the family that shared whatever little food they have with you. Happiness all around. Loved it.

Well done Alex. Thanks to your camera my first visit inside a Muslim household. What a charming & hospitable family who have entertained you. I had no idea that people of other faiths would be welcomed into a Muslim home in such a way.The interaction between you & the young man of the house was fascinating, & we also learned something about you. Born in Russia but "walked" to Belarus in 1995 ? Very interesting. Your daughter also so perfectly behaved until right at the end when it nearly descended into a "cold war " over some toys. All in all another juicy long vlog.

True Belief, you make me laugh, as always. :) Its a long story... In 1930th my grandgrandfather was exiled from Belarus to Siberia (Solovki) because he owned a cow. But he escaped from the train and started to live in the central Russia. That is why I was born later in Russia in 1973 but returned to Belarus in 1995 where my grandmother lives until now. She is 89 years old. Ohhh... it is 2:31am here, I should sleep a little bit. :)

Great hospitality!! By true SriLankans..for wonderful Guests. God bless you all!! Your little girl cute... Parents need to teach and experience with all country people in the world.. It will make your cute girl as global citizen!!!! (I learnt this from you vlog) Have you been to kegalle,SriLanka Elephant Orphanage!!! Although you can see small towns, river and baddy field with nature.. Through that you can understand SL people's culture, social,daily practices livelyhood ...etc hope it will give experience to you and your family.

Sri Lankan, we respect everyone we treat. Our hospitality is good and we may not rich.
