At the beginning of December while in Los Angeles to attend the 30th anniversary Los Angeles and Orange County Audiophile Society GALA, where every year I "roast" the Founder's Award winner (this year it was AudioQuest's Bill Low), I received an invitation from a publicist to visit Gil Tamazyan at his new "boutique" pressing plant in Arcadia, California.

What a fascinating video. And . . . Gil Tamazyan is an amazing individual as we find out through this visit. Kudos to Gil, and you Michael - in doing such a great job in presenting this to us. Those of us that love analog audio owe people like Gil our heartfelt gratitude. Thanks to you both !!

. . . and I get the impression that Chad is no longer using the "manual" presses mentioned in this video for his UHQR releases . . . ?? Sort of seemed like a good idea to me in regard to eliminating vibrations during the actual record press process . . ?? Maybe I'm wrong.
Interesting video Michael. Thanks for taking the time to share this with us. Rare to get this startup opportunity.
that was great! thanks for the tour.
Brilliant! Great to see such dedication!!!
Awesome, thanks Michael! For all of the "automation " of this newer machine, there sure is a lot of labor involved. Thanks as well to the Onyx owner for the video and the demonstration, much appreciated!
Wow, Michael, this is so cool! Thanks for showing all of this Gil! This was fascinating to watch!
Informaltionally, this is the BEST vid You've ever done. Thanks Michael
Awesome!!!! I want a white label promo of Jurassic Shark!!!!
Thanks for showing Mikey. I live 30 minutes from Arcadia. Nice, unexpected Xmas present. Really enjoyed it. 👍
Fantastic, this is such a blast to see. Thank you Michael and thank you Onyx!
Love to see this passion at work. Very very cool. The real thing. Thanks for sharing. Grts from the Netherlands
Really keen to see how they progress, these guys would be amazing for a lot of Bandcamp artists who do smaller runs, but want premium quality. Really impressive setup. It’s places like this I don’t mind paying say a £10 markup on an album for the smaller, more personal product.
Wow! Thank You for the experience. Sure puts the whole High End business into certain perspective.. Marry Christmas to all!
Thank you very much! You are wizards!I forgot how to breathe when I was watching.Professionalism, passion, love for vinyl..I bow low to you and respect you.
Love the boutique niche that Onyx is filling and I think they have a clever business plan. Hurray for the little guys! Thanks, Michael.
What a great Christmas gift 😊, thx Michael Fremer!😊
Quick tip to that guy, Try having a IBC tank with vinyl pellets. Closed system, no debris. And couple that vacuum sucker to the ibc’s bottom outlet
Fantastic people make for a fantastic industry. Thanks for sharing this Michael . Big M.Fer fan.

Clearly vinyl isn't your thing. Are you a vegetarian who posts similar comments under barbecue sites?
