i'm only here because Napalm Records made a community post about them. and i only know about Napalm Records because of Alestorm. Napalm records have led me to a great many new bands including Visions of Atlantis, Wind Rose, Gloryhammer! all thanks to a Scotsman singing about stealing my rum at the point of a gun :3

Have seen the band a number of times now and they are better and better each and every time. Greatly enjoyable material in the live sense and very engaging with their audience. Wishing them the the very best on all future conquests!

Voa are definitely one of the best symphonic metal bands on the planet at the moment. They should be much bigger than they are . I think to many line up changes held them back in the past

Heh, lineup changes didn't stop Nightwish. :) At this point Nightwish is just a cover band of Nightwish.

Clementine was the best decision for them, her voice is amazing 😍 and make match perfectly With the style of the band, the last two albums are the only I have listen on spotify since the past year haha

The current lineup has been on another level lately.

This band is becoming better and better. Been following them for ages now and saw their ups and downs. This is the dawn of a new age for VoA. Clémentine is a goddess!

This Austrian Symphonic Metal band are as old as the 21st Century and one of the SM pioneers, although this lineup is only four years old - only the drummer's been around the whole time. No that any of this matters. What matters is that they turn out quality bombastic quality archetypal Symphonic Metal. This tune has got everything you want to hear from this subgenre. The standout feature is the production - absolutely exquisite - a superb sonic experience. A must-download for SM fans. My Score: Very Good 4*

I would've preferred the guitars mixed more dominantly. They can still be symphonic, but just a little more edgy.

Jay thanks for your thoughts of them there at the concert. I was there for it too. Seen all but Visons of Atlantis before . Great from all bands. Loved Vision of Atlantis the most their that night. Look forward for Nightwish & Beast in Black in Chicago on the 17 of May. Was Bless to see all of the Bands that got to come & play for us here in the USA. Hope for more in the future here from the bands from overseas. This June will make 10 years for seeing the bands from over from there at PPUSA in Atlanta Ga . USA. wish

This is so underrated! This is just pure talent.

I wish you, Visions of Atlantis, Will reach as high and as far as possible in your musical career. I have always loved symphonic metal. I have long loved Nightwish (best band from my home country, personal opinion ofcourse) and recently when I discovered you guys, I have started to love you as well. Maybe some people compare you to NW, but you are just perfect as long as you keep doing your own thing and love what you create. I apreciate that you are not trying to copy anyone. Your music sounds great and it has that something that takes listener to another world. I like that your lyrics are like creative stories. Those are the reasons I listen to you. Thankyou for making those songs and keeping this wonderful genre alive. Wish you all the best. Please try to come play in Finland again. I will come see you then.

Visions of Atlantis are coming in strong. These guys peaked with Trinity and since Melissa left they had ups and downs as a band. On the first album with Clementine I had my doubts but now I'm impressed! They got back the magic they had! It makes me so proud to see this band revitalized, thank you. And Michele is also an excellent male vocalist, I almost fell in love with his voice.

Yep, this band is kind of like if you put Nightwish, Xandria, and Kamelot in a blender. But I am loving how they continue to evolve on each record towards their own distinctive sound. "Wanderers" was some of the best symphonic metal that's come out in the last 10 years, and I'm really excited for the new album. Seeing them live with Dragonforce in a few weeks!

Forget Nightwish, symphonic metal resurgence right here!

AHOY MATEYS!!! AVAST YE SCURVY LANDLUBBERS..... This sounds incredible, classic Visions of Atlantis perfection! I'm very intrigued to see just how they pull off an entire 'pirate' themed album. Clementine just looks PHENOMENAL here, in her dark seductress pirate garb, and sounds stronger than ever while doing so. Yep, this album is going to get played often and LOUD!!!!

That woman's vocals are integral. Shades ofAmy Lee and Christina Scabia. Once the chorus hit (no pun intended) you had me hooked!

I saw them in SLC! I even had the chance to attend meet and greet and interview then for my channel, they were super nice.

Now all they gotta do is do cleaner happier music. Ad Infinitum has such great potential but soooo flippin dark. LoA is better. flippin all the MTG references. Library of Alexandria, Ad Naus. Both bands inspired a Merfolk tribal playlist. xd

Visions of Atlantis absolutely killed it live here in Toronto (supporting act for Dragonforce). Stellar musicianship obviously but the stage presence and showmanship made the performance all the more enjoyable.
