You are amazing women!!! You remind me of Maya Angelou quote ,"Each time a woman stands up for herself, without knowing it possibly, without claiming it, she stands up for all women." You helped others to believe you are worthy and that sleepless days ...Vision is victory 😍

Thank you very much for this amazing speech. I really felt the pet where you talked about your GPA. I've also been working really hard during two years to obtain my diploma. First, there was covid and then the political instability. Yet, I managed to go through and worked hard even though I didn't get the desired outcome. I really appreciate that even though many people in my surrounding don't believe in me getting into UC Berkeley with the grades I got, I am still fighting - visualizing my acceptance letter and living the best of my life there. Thank you for this inspiring message. May God bless you immensely!

“Nothing was given to me. I had to work for everything.” So INSPIRING. You never allowed yourself to be a victim when so many others around you, when our society and even our leaders want to tell us it’s OK to be a victim. YOU WERE WORTHY! What would this country be if EVERYONE was like you? UNDEFEATED by ANYTHING. Thank you for proving to us that there is a “Test,” in every TESTimony!

“Look beyond your eyes.” The line that lives in me. I’m impressed. I agree . ☝️ A lot of people are dreaming but they aren’t waking up. They are not making a move to achieve it. Vision is something that you can see in the future even though it isn’t happening in the present. Everyone can look but not everyone can see. The greatest gift from God is Vision. When you have a vision of what you want to be in the future, you will achieve it. 💛

Loved it. It made me smile, it made me laugh, it made me feel. Capturing. I held onto your every word because it drew me in with your ability to story tell. And was a story that's relatable in everyone's life who wants to succeed but are afraid of failure. It was beautiful Toya and very encouraging.

Toya that was awesome 👏☺️🤗 (had to wait for the babies to be in bed to enjoy it) it was a wonderful story (bc of its happy ending and the lessons learned on the way) what's crazy is this is something I've been struggling with since leaving the workforce to care for our kids until they are a bit older. The getting the vision concrete has been my tough part bc in order to know how to get there you have to know what you want. And I've been doing things a bit backwards on that. That's what hit home on your TED talk, the comment about reverse engineering from where you want to be to where you are and then just doing it. Congrats on a truly awesome speech and thank you for the lessons shared and so well timed insight 😊

Very inspiring but how did she cope with sleeping less as we all know that our brains can function well if we have the right amount of sleep. I even tried one sleepless day but I felt unwell the next day. Hope I had superpowers like her.😁💯

Doesn’t having little sleep when you’re learning something make it hard for you to remember/focus? Therefore slowing your progress. Even if I did have a huge dream that I’m obsessed with, I wouldn’t forget the importance of having good sleep...

Great story but if she's THAT tired and sleep-deprived, she shouldn't be driving. She has an extremely high percentage chance to kill herself, and others. It's irresponsible . All those goals don't matter when you're dead.

Hmmm not exactly about visualization... it was more about how I deprived myself from sleeping and survived...
