@@Rama_Rama_Rama Both are true and false... Let me explain.... Shiva dosent mean only "shiva" this also means "pure" and uma bring the common noun for splendor. Case 1 Narayana is paratatva. He assumes various roopa on the basis of guna. He is RuDra when tamo guna is enveloped . He is brahma when rajo guna is enveloped. So yes narayana is an embodiment of pure bliss who also transforms into maharudRa and brahma. (All puranas describe it. Even the great shiva purana says narayana as niyaamaka for brahma and rudra)

Case 2 The soma is the sacred juice which grants immortality. The Vedas describe narayana to be born from soma rasa.(this might be trivikrama roopa of hari) or even Ganesha (even Vishnu term is used for Ganesha) And Sri rudram calls mahadeva as "soma" so yes....

Great job. It's unbelievable how much efforts it takes to go through such a difficult stotram, split the sandhis, write down 1000 meanings and translate to English to ensure that as much meaning and essence is retained as possible, recite it with such clear pronounciation, edit it and post it. I hope your channel the best possible future. I want history to write you as one of the saviors of Sanskrit once Sanskrit comes back to its glory, which I'm sure will happen one day.

When I was in primary school, one of classmates used to be able chant all 1000 names of Sri Vishnu. He said that He had learned it by heart at the age of 5..

It is going to remain with you for life. I brought one new CD and book in 2003. It is still there with me. If you read it daily, ace to you in everything. So buy it from online. It you want Cheapest means download from you tube.

I do chant Vishnusahasranam daily, at least a couple of verses daily due to the time factor in this busy world, but the way it's presented here with meanings made me more passionate now. You are doing the duty that the learned/brahmins were supposed to do in the society educating people about Sanskrit and spread the treasure of our scriptures hidden beneath. In the absence of such education, the Hindu society is going through the ills of different sorts and it's never too late to start unearthing the treasure trove of our scriptures this way. Kudos to the Sanskrit channel.
