Visage - Fade To Grey. Ashtyn&Jon REACTION

The purpose of me requesting they react to songs like these is just to expose them to music they may or may not have heard before, to expand their horizons and to sate my curiosity over whether they will like them or not. As such I don't really care about likes/dislikes on these video postings or even the popularity of my channel or theirs for that matter.
Also nothing is monetized on my channel so I make no money from posting them, they do these for me and I just post them here in case other people are curious what they think of these songs too after they send me them and I have watched them myself. As mentioned this is not their channel, if you wish to visit their channel it can be found listed below.

They obviously don't understand what's all about this song. It is considered one of the most iconic electronic songs from the early 80's. Also the image from Steve Strange was revolutionary at the time. A new world. It's a shame this dudes don't have a clue.

Jon and Ashtyn. You know, I've spent most of tonight going through your videos because I couldn't believe what i was seeing, and not hearing in the first few. I, like others have, then wanted to give you both a good gob full for your absolute lack of depth etc etc. I'm not going to though. Instead some friendly adivce for the time periods of the music you are reviewing. Music meant considerably more then than it does today. Peoples lives revolved around it and their existences could and still can be charted by the music they listened to then and reminisce over now. Todays music, your era, is more throw away and forgetable than it's ever been. It's also considerably more commercial, mass produced and generic. There is still some good stuff around but it's getting less and less thanks to crap like American Idol, Popstars, xfactor etc, etc. Trash music at it's worst unfortunately and because of the state of today's music I feel a little sorry for you both tbh. As an example of good music watch Queen at Live Aid. That was music and it was universal and most all of us loved it. I was never a huge Queen fan but they rocked it that day in spite of Freddie's news.. Take a holiday you pair, you both look like you need a break. Do something dangerous or scary or stupid or crazy and get some fire and passion back. There's a song by Shakespeares Sister called Hello. It has a great line in it - 'Life is a strange thing. Just when you think you've learned how to use it it's gone.' I suggest you get out and learn how to use it before it's gone for you too. Take it from someone who's lived. Good luck.

So true! I remember hearing stereo for the first time (it was mono before then). It was from the speakers in the back of my best friends older boyfriend's ford fiesta. Queen singing I want to break free ... It blew me away! I was in heaven. Music is so accessable nowadays which I love in one way and hate in another. There's nothing like the thrill of pressing record when your favourite song came on the radio ... after that you knew you could replay it any time you wanted. The dissappoint if the DJ talked over the end though 😊. Happy days.

Stephen John Harrington (28 May 1959 - 12 February 2015), better known by his stage name Steve Strange, was a Welsh pop singer. He became famous as the leader of the new wave synth-pop group Visage, best known for their single "Fade to Grey". On 12 February 2015, Strange suffered a heart attack, at the age of 55, whilst in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt; he died later that day in hospital.

I was wondering if today's young people understand 80s music videos, since some of them are pure art. The answer is obviously: NO! That's what I was expecting from a generation that thinks ruining something as beautiful as the skin of a woman with disgusting ink scribbling is art. Nope, it's just hideous and it last for a lifetime.

Well jinkies man, maybe if you actually had the audacity and patience to understand the many types of “young” people of today before generalizing us all as ignorant and classless, you would know that we (as well as every other generation) can delve our emotions into music, culture and art of all sorts. The answer is obviously: YES! There’s enough people that go their whole life living young and cool as shit and you got to be the crotchety old fart sounding preachy, sexist and bitter. Get over your biases and grow up.

I can understand that you live in a period of time that music is likr going to a grocery or supermarket where you can easily buy something without having the ability to evaluate it. But music is not like this. Read, listen, learn and then upload critics about music.... "She's so white she must be a ghost..." is a first reaction os someone irrelevant with music...sorry, but that's the truth

I went through a few of their reactions now after watching that pitiful/disrespectful George Michael “Carless whisper” video…just to give them a chance or a benefit of the doubt. But yes all of their reactions are the same. Boring, cynical, hateful, and cringe. Not open minded whatsoever and no concept of the fact that styles, both music and fashion, change over the years.

Oh my god, you people are so out of touch!. This is definitely hands-down the most pioneering synthpop song EVER. You are actually burning down the best synthpop anthem ever. You have no taste. ver
