Falco - Rock Me Amadeus. Ashtyn&Jon REACTION
The purpose of me requesting they react to songs like these is just to expose them to music they may or may not have heard before, to expand their horizons and to sate my curiosity over whether they will like them or not. As such I don't really care about likes/dislikes on these video postings or even the popularity of my channel or theirs for that matter.
Also nothing is monetized on my channel so I make no money from posting them, they do these for me and I just post them here in case other people are curious what they think of these songs too after they send me them and I have watched them myself. As mentioned this is not their channel, if you wish to visit their channel it can be found listed below.

As an Austrian, I have to say it's always nice to see English-speaking people reacting to musicians from my home country. Falco's music is an integral part of Austrian culture and it will never be forgotten. He sang many songs in both German and English and was the only Austrian to reach number 1 on the Billboard with a song in German (Rock me Amadeus). Thank you for your great reaction. Greetings from Austria.

I'm listening and looking at the comments. It was the 80s and he's Austrian just like Mozart. Austrian's speak German. Some of it is in English. It cracks me up when youngsters think they know when color video came out. Color video was out in the 30s kids. For instance the Wizard of Oz came out in the 1939 and the bulk of it is in color. Yes the majority of films were in black and white until the late 50s and 60s.

As a slightly offended American I can't criticize. You have to consider the age, experience and worldliness of some reacters. Americans have to travel thousands of miles to know another culture/language. In Europe, another culture/language is as close as 500 miles or closer. A short drive. Except for Mexico, Americans have to take long flights to find another language. A lot of reactions are without warning or explanation.

Falco is Austrian and sings and partly lived in Germany, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is also Austrian / German, that should also be clear to Americans
The lead singer was Austrian, born in Vienna. AMADEUS who the song refers to was a world famous classical musician Wolfgang AMADEUS Mozart. A lot of the song is sung in German which is the main language in Austria. Falco said that he learned his English through watching films, television and music videos. Falco real name Johann Holzel sadly died in a horrific road accident back in the Nineties.
You two are definitely not the brightest candles in the room! And he's from Austria, not Germany, not France, any definitely not from England.

I can only think of two German sung songs that were hits in the United States and those two were by Nena: 99 Luftballons (99 Red Balloons) and the other was by Falco: Der Kommissar - and both songs had English sung versions. The only other two artists who had major success from Germany in the U.S.A. back in the 1980s were the Scorpions- who sang in English and the German-French duo of Milli Vanilli, towards the latter part of the 1980s. Other artists with mild success were: Kraftwerk, Alphaville and Boney M.
Falco is a Austrian. His really name is Johann "Hans" Hölzel.
I don’t know what’s funnier in these vids : they don’t know who Amadeus is or they don’t really have a clue what language it is

Not knowing which language Falco is singing in is understandable. Not knowing who Amadeus is? Not so much.

Falco is moust excentric, is born in Austria. RIP 😔
The reason you are hearing a lot of English words is because English is a West Germanic language. Although it is sprinkled with lots of French, Norse, Latin and more, the base language is German. When you see written German it's quite obvious, but the spoken word can be a little harder to recognise. This song was in German with the chorus being the very English expression, "Rock Me" Amadeus. Also, how can you get to your age and not have heard of Mozart. I like this video because you two are so fresh and raw. I actually find it funny the way you pronounced Amadeus and a few other things. Subbed just on this video alone.
Learn the world kids.

This is a concert performance by the three artists noted above, at the Liebenau (pronounced Lee-Ben-Ow) Music Festival, in the city of Graz (pronounced Grotz); Graz is co-incidentally the hometown where Arnold Schwarzenegger was born and raised. This "Live Concert" version, of "Rock Me Amadeus", is MUCH, MUCH BETTER than the "Official" Studio recording, and music video (with tuxedos, and wigs); and the same is taking into account that the "Official" Studio Recording and Music Video are each already quite EXCELLENT !!!!!:):):):):)

To relate to this song using a Austrian/German accent ,You have to had seen the movie Amadeus ,, about Mozart, the first and greatest musician / composer who Toured music concerts across Europe in the 1760s. They also used his music in the movie Shank saw Redemption, Also the movie Sound of Music used Austrian /German accent with the children, and just happened to take place in Mozart birth town Salzburg Austria , but never mention his name ,even though there was Mozart statue in the town square. Funny a movie about Music made in Salzburg Austria but not mentioning Mozart? Rock Me Amadeus!
the song is German , the 70's 80's was the best of times to be alive ..
