Hello, I'm hoping you could help. I have the primo Go hooked up to my Virtual DJ. But the eq on the Prime go is doing some effects rather then High, Mid and Low. How can this be fixed? Thank you.

That pretty much sounds like you're using custom mappers. But please check if your advanced eq options are set to modern and try again.

Thank you....brilliant video. One problem i have, ever since i loaded my own fx folder, when ever i add an Fx, Virtualdj loses volume. And now when i load a deck while music is playing, the volume goes low....I do not have permissions to load my own fx...maybe that is the problem.???

Definitely. If you have full control over the Vdj root folder then You may have to delete the *settings.xml* file and retry that.

when you were checking the permissions for the security folder why did you select deny and check all of them? i thought the allowed side is supposed to be all checked off?

Hey Dear am having problem with virtual dj software. After updating VirtualDJ - Browsing sticks for ages when searching for files songs, When I attempt to search for a song I type the name of the artist/track in the search bar and the "searching" prompt appears, but no songs appear. When I then click to a different subfolder, "searching" changes to "browsing" but no tracks under the selected folders appear. It just seems to endlessly search and browse. Can anyone help?

Go to options and click on the small gear ⚙️ on the bottom right corner just once and the whole Virtual Dj folder will pop

@@KayXamTutorialsI use an older version of VDJ, and the Virtual DJ folder tends to go wherever your music is coming from (such as an External Hard Drive) As well as the music folder on the computer/laptop.

Xam I face audio delay when I’m using a sound card, I will mix the sound fine in my headset using the sound card but when I bring the sound out it doesn’t sync with the current song. I have have updated the sound drivers but still any help?

If recording is not working as expected, perhaps the Audio routing of your mixer is set for DVS and needs to be internally reconfigured. Please consult the A&H Xone:23C Guide (page 19) for further details. www.allen-heath.com/ahproducts/xone-23c/ Note, that Video mixing is still possible, despite the fact that the Crossfader and Volume faders of the Xone 23C are not sending MIDI. See the Mixing Guide - Wiki page

As long as you set it to *Yes* or *No*, it should be able to work. If you try that several times and it still doesn't work, you might consider deleting the .xml settings file and start making all your settings afresh

Sorry about that fam from Philippines. But really what does the error say exactly if I may ask? Because if the song was from VirtualDJ database (and not visiting an actual folder of files), then it's likely the link to the file in the database is broken. This happens when you move or rename the file outside of VirtualDJ browser. Or *"Error - could not play file",* if the file is corrupted.. Or *"Unknown filetype"* ... If it just says *error*, right-click the file in browser, open Tag editor, and look at bottom. There you can see more extensive errors, as well as path to where the database has to file.. Or please make sure you have the right files and replace the corrupted ones.

If asking about how to disable stems in the current version of VDJ 2023, with the 2.0 stems, go to: Settings > StemsRealtimeSeparation > Fully disabled to turn off

When I try to install virtual DJ onto Windows 10 in the panel it shows you advance before installing I added it to programs and install after installation it's still doesn't open when I click on the icon on the desktop I've gone to properties clicked on compatibility and clicked run Windows 8 applied and ok it and still it doesn't open what do you think is causing this I'm from the UK 🇬🇧

Really sorry for that bro from the UK . Which version of Virtual dj are you trying to install? If it's not the official version then that's an issue with your antivirus or Windows defender. Please disable it first while installing the software and then resume it afterwards. Everything must work perfectly.

Sorry for that dear friend. Are you using a 32bit operating system? If so then please upgrade to 64bit because the later versions of Virtual dj stopped working on 32bit machines.

That simply means you need to purchase a VirtualDj license to unlock the controller. You you however sign in to the software using your email and will be given a 30 days trial without being disconnected
