Thank you 🙂 Watched all your Lab-Videos
Thank you Sir really helpful especially this time.
Thank you very much Sir! It was very helpful for me.
If you're taking suggestions, could you do a video on classification of soils? ASTM D2487
Excellent
Thank you very much sir...
Amazing
It was amazing ❤️❤️❤️👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Thank you sir :)
Thanku sir....
Hi Sir, Do you have a video that shows measurement of Ksat using Eijkelkamp's Lab Permeameter? Or can you please share a link of that video that you are aware of ? Thank you
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
How do you measure the lenght of sample (Lo = 14.1 cm)? Was it the length between two manometers measuring the pressure heads?
@RyanShamet

it is the physical height of the soil column in the permeameter. We also measure the diameter of the cylinder and the dry mass of the soil used to calculate the dry density of the soil sample.
Sir can I ask how to get the average flow?
@RyanShamet

The average flow is taken by measuring the collection of water from the effluent (cubic cm) over a specified time (seconds). Three separate measurements are taken then averaged.

you have not shown the calculations of permeability

The original purpose of this video is for the students in the laboratory section of my course. The permeability equations and calculations are what the students need to perform for their assignment, therefore I do not include any calculations or analysis in my videos - only data and measurements.

@@RyanShamet okay sir, but i have tried the calculation and I'm confused that, we have only one head which is at the top of the soil, but we don't have any head at the bottom layer of the soil so how will we measure the head loss??

@@pushprajmandloi3745 rewatch at 11:35 in the video. The head difference across the soil layer is the Hz - Hn1. The table is our "datum" meaning (for calculation purposes) the head = 0.
