Hi, EE I am a Geotechnical engineering faculty. At 1:20,for gravel, i think u should represent it as larger void space instead of volume of voids. as volume of voids are more in clay. i think it is appropriate to use term of large void space instead of large volume of voids.

space or void is bigger in large size particle but not volume it's lesser vice versa for smaller size particle
