Jordan Travis went 18-24 for 170 passing yards with 2 touchdowns. Trey Benson also played a great game as he ran the ball 11 times for 200 rushing yards with 2 touchdowns. Overall, Florida State really dominated this game by beating Virginia Tech. Go Seminoles!!!

It’s crazy cuz all fsu fans know the potential this team has that we haven’t reached yet. We r playing to their level every week even tho we still dominate. Norvell better figure it out before the playoffs

I'm getting less and less concerned about other teams and playoffs as many top teams are starting to lose. Their is clearly more parity this yr in CFB. We just have to keep winning and improving one game at at time. Go Noles

@@dylenalfaro4114 Defense isn't all about allowing points. They looked very sloppy when trying to tackle and they allowed very many big plays, without allowing any scores. We play defense like this against a team like Miami it's gonna look very ugly.

@@eeeee4503 yeah that was to be expected. Adams philosophy as a defensive mind is to take a way a key aspect of the opposing defense. Which they did and I think they were okay with allowing some explosive QB runs. It’s not all about shutting out the opponents offense. You gotta understand defenses don’t play the same way every game. It’s all about the offense formation and what they show on film.

Sad part is, the Noles dropped two weeks in a row to end up at number five even after winning both games. I hate the bias in the voting. Makes zero sense unless you follow the money trail. Move FSU to SEC and they are number 2 right now behind Georgia.

No it did make sense. Narrow victory to BC didn't look good. There's so many undefeated teams and the ACC is relatively weak so FSU needs to confidently win those kinds of games. There's no bias. Look at USC. Undefeated but because they barely beat arizona they dropped

I'm happy but if anyone watched that Louisville defense tonight against Notre Dame and how they played and shutdown Notre Dame who had not lost to an ACC team since 2013 or something like that that I thought I heard the ESPN announcers say, well Louisville did it tonight. Their defense was awesome, their running game was awesome! They still put us to shame tonight. Their fans even put us to shame. They reminded me of us when we were young and just beginning to win and not expecting to win. When going to games was exciting from beginning to end and every play was just like the most exciting play of the day and every fan was into it. It was a joy watching that game and when they got to the 4th quarter, it was like a party was happening. Something we used to do...I'm sure now it's just played down with a little excitement. It was beautiful though seeing 80k fans at Doak Campbell Stadium today. Part of history became next year, 20k seats will be gone and you will be able to say you were part of the last crowds in Doak Campbell Stadium before the seats were taken away. Record crowd today! Part of history, not more of these days to look forward to 😢

For real, Virginia Tech used to be one of those teams you worried about your team playing. They were formidable and had some very good teams in the early to mid 2010's. Then out of nowhere drop to the very bottom as did Virginia. Even Virginia was no easy win either at the time. But Virginia Tech has too much tradition, including their Stadium, their entrance and that brand overall to be in the state they're in today it's simply unbelievable.

VT '06 here. I think Beamer started slipping a few years before retirement. When he retired, I think a lot of prospects said no thanks to Fuente. And I heard that our recruiting just died under him. Maybe we can recover, but at this point, I'm just hoping our current coach has a better eye for the future, but I fear we'll be "rebuilding" for at least a decade. 😕

Agree with Nick. I haven’t seen a team standout more than FSU. Maybe as much as, but none of them have dominated every game. They’ve all had close losses that shouldn’t have been. At least we aren’t Miami. 😂

In the 3rd quarter it was 22-17 against a 2-3 team. Im a Noles fan, but this team is vastly overrated. This is just another "headed in the right direction" year. The reality check is coming...

Nah, we got this We still play it tough, it's more so coaching coaching anything else they put their foot off the gas against teams they under estimate which I agree they need to stop doing that. But for the most part, we play big teams aggressively I'm sure will get it done the rest of the season and if not playoffs a very good bowl game

Florida State looked fraudulent against a really bad Virginia Tech team. Boston College and VT both exposed FSU, and all Clemson had to do was get a first down and run the clock out. Because Florida State plays in the ACC, there are no more challenges left on the schedule. Maybe the committee will be smart enough to see that Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, and 1 or 2-loss Penn State or Alabama are better teams than an undefeated FSU. I doubt it, though, considering that this same committee picked weak teams like Michigan State, Washington, Notre Dame, Cincinnati, and TCU in the past over far superior teams just for the sake of being "politically correct".
