Thankyou so much for this. I'm from Australia and I quite often watch the beach cams dotted along the boardwalk. I love it because you get to see everything in real time. The only problem with the cams is that they don't always work well and you only see so much. So walking along with you and seeing it in its entirety is just wonderful. I've only seen a part of it so far but look forward to continuing the walk tomorrow.

That house you passed just before 12th Street, in the 70s and 60s lots of houses look like that. But they would slowly burned down every winter, and then a hotel would be built. Born and raised, my elementary school was on 15th and Pacific

My second favorite place where I have lived - 1967 to 1972 and 1981 to 1983.

I’m guessing most posting on here haven’t been to Va Beach recently and especially past the hours of darkness. It falls inline with other supposed hot spots ie Myrtle Beach, Ocean City, Wildwood, all places ruined by who frequents them now.

What type of camera do you use? The footage is Phenomenal. I was also there in June but the week after this was uploaded. I’m originally from the 757 area but have moved to TX. Thank for sharing!

Hey James. We appreciate it! I use a GoPro on a gimbal, then do color grading during editing. Where are you at in TX? I've lived a few places in there.

@@James.Markham757Va Oh cool. I grew up in Plano. There were a few options I had for filming these videos, but I got sold on the GoPro after seeing how smooth the footage was when it was attached to a Polaris running through the desert. They also do great under water. I use a Hero 8, and should probably upgrade to the latest version, but I've had no issues with this one for the couple of years I've had it. I know GoPro has their 360 camera and it seems to get decent reviews, but I've never messed around with it or any 360 camera.

Not at all like the boardwalk in Atlantic City..I went in a port-a-John on their boardwalk it was topped off and that sums up that place for me.

The building being constructed in the video, next to the Sheraton, is the Hyatt Place Virginia Beach / Oceanfront - Hotel 3601 Atlantic Ave Virginia Beach, VA 23451 its completed and open now

I made someone trip better lol it was going to rain everyday so me and this girl started passing note underneath the door at very end the trip we ended finding out who they were and the dad said to me you made my daughter trip a lot better and daughter was probably mid 30s lol I was like 20 or 21 lol it ended up being nice and sunny all those day I will never forget that day lol I Decided to play tik tac toe she beat me lol since I live upstate ny lol
