I visited Charleston for the first time for a few days in November 2019 (last trip before the pandemic). While there I learned that South Carolina played a huge role in the American Revolutionary War and heroes like Francis Marion, William Moultrie, Thomas Sumter and Charles Pinckney really should be much better known up in the Northeast, where I come from. Anyway, Charleston gets my vote for most beautiful city in the US. Thanks for letting me wander through these streets again!

Thank you for the video. This reminds me of raising my 2 kids there in Charleston. The favorite time is watching Dolphins on the pier, and getting to play in the Pineapple fountain. I want to go back so bad

Thank you for another great walk! The buildings are so beautiful! I like the little blocks of information you insert once in a while. Also, it's cool you went through the market. I was so caught up looking at what they sell, that I almost asked myself: "Do they accept debit or is it cash only?" lol

Hi James - thank you so much! This video was captured on September 26, 2021. I shoot these with a GoPro mounted on a handheld gimbal. The GoPro has pretty good on-board stabilization and the gimbal helps to smooth it out even more. You can still tell you're walking, but doesn't make you seasick (or at least I hope). Thanks for watching and have a good one!

I'm thinking about moving to Charleston I will visit in April or may ! I want to be in a nice safe area and walking ! Hope to find a good realtor as well !

That's Brasserie la Banque, a French restaurant, at the corner of East Bay and Broad streets. That's in the French Quarter of Charleston. 👍

In my opinion apologize for what, it was something that happened a few hundred years ago.

As a 4th gen tanned well educated Scot, this looks great blue sky, good heat ..desirable climate.. only question, would I be welcome ?
