Season 5 picks up the next morning after Charmaines big lie exposed! July 2023 can't come soon enough. Martin said if he had dialog that night it would have been beep, beep beeped out!! Love him for the wonderful work he gives us. 😘

During Pandemic virgin river made me happy and joy this show get me through my depression .. Thank u for giving wonderful show.. pls give more seasons.... I really really loved s4.. Its was so good... Especially mel and jack my favourite couple ❤️their chemistry just awesome love from india ❤️

Annette has done an incredible job playing a recovering TBI patient. Mel's baby better have dimples! Fantastic season I binged too. One episode just led into the next so why not. Watching for third time. Thank you wonderful cast!

This is a very good season, the writer finally focus on Mel and Jack happiness, they can have their love story just two of them they can figure out which way to go to solve their problems, less drama and also clear Charmaine situation. I am so happy that the story line meets my expectations. I am worried about Brie because now l can't trust Brady and Preacher vas is still confusing. Love you guys. Hopefully l will get my answers on season 5

What a wonderful series, the actors are simply the best , the finale is breathtaking. How not to be excited for the sequel. Mel and Jack I love you. Now I have to be patient for the 5th season🤩❤😍

What an ending to season 4! Wow! The writers pulled this off big time.

Would also LOVE a romance for Muriel. She's a strong, lovely woman who really needs a love in her life because she's got a lot of LOVE & life to give.

This show can go on for season 6-7-8 the writers know that life goes on and this show is all about life.

This has been the best season yet! So many different storylines and they were all so interesting. Last season there was way too much negative… it wasn’t as fun to watch. Lots of romance and fun to his go around and I loved how so many stories were finally settled! I just wish they could film the show year round because I can never get enough of this show! Gosh it’s SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!

Season 4 answered the questions that we have anxiously be waiting for. Finally!! I think Charmaine’s pregnancy is through IVF.

It just has genuine interest and characters.

I think most fans would have hated it if the baby was Mark in my opinion. I would not want to see VR if the baby wasn't Jack. I think the writer's decision was correct in making Jack the father.

Idk I love this drama for its warming atmosphere and overplayed drama-trauma stuff xD. I mean some situations are really exaggerated but i really like it. Feel like I came to some kinda of family-community. I don't know, if it it the reality for such small towns in US, but this is kinda cute.

The show is an addictive soap opera filmed all during just summer in BC, . Jack and Preacher are gone all the time so who is cooking all that food LOL Yes, Jack has had trauma, time he's past that. Only one child is his instead of 3, so likely he can give up drinking for now. Dr. Tim and Preacher Colin are outstanding as well

Wonderful I wish we could live there.

Charmaine has been such a witch , after the way she has carried on about “ Jack’s babies” you’d think she’d forgotten that she was party to the act, it’s all his fault. Enough with Charmaine, she almost drove Jack to a nervous breakdown and a knife through Mel’s heart.

Not quite sure I get how Jack is supposed to make money off the air streams camp ground. Those airstreams are extremely pricey .he’s just going to make enough money to pay for the cost of the campers. I don’t get it

I found Season 4 confusing - too many convoluted story lines. What’s with the grandson story? The writing wasn’t as engaging this season for me.

You are the only one lol, No one is watching the show for Baby to be Mark and the writers realise it, wouldn't have been well received by fans so that`s why they change it. I wasn't going to watch if the baby was not Jack. There are many more ways to create drama on the show.

Finally Ricky is gone! YAY!!! He was the Wesley Crusher, or Jar Jar Binks to this series, just slightly above Hope. Season three was the best simply as she wasn't around. Maybe season five will be better if HE isn't around.

There’s quite a few characters who need to disappear. Ricky, Hope, Charmaine, Denny, Doc, Stacy, Connie, Jo Ellen, Christopher, Lydia, preacher, Joey, essentially everyone who isn’t Jack or Mel. The story has huge time gaps that make no sense, mediocre acting and completely unrealistic situations. Very predictable. I think a big landslide should take care of it.

I agree, the 1st season was good, thought it would be a good series, but the soap opera drama is ridiculous, it should be called Chaos River, I love all the actors in the series, but one has that much drama everyday.

I agree. Characters are sappy. Major holes in the timelines. Many poor actors, poor story lines. For example, the town hens think they can just keep an abandon child and they think they don’t have to obey the laws. Or there’s an accident way up into the forest, but doc doesn’t want to call in the emergency services until he hikes into the wood himself and takes a look. Then instead of calling for help, he hikes miles out and then calls for help. Predictable scenes. An elderly man pushing a shopping cart goes into cardiac arrest, the pilot of their plane has a heart attack, Hope almost crashes the car because she isn’t supposed to drive. Charmaine finds a man and marries him after 3 weeks. She’s a horrible character. Jack gets stabbed and three weeks later, he’s heaving heavy crates of alcohol. Charmaine is literary 3 weeks pregnant and spends episodes on a birth plan. Absolutely poor medical care. Preacher is drugged and passed out in the woods and the very next episode, he’s cooking in the bar with essentially no follow up. Other then Jack and Mel I think a good wildfire could rectify the problem.
