They let Jack die main character in When Calls the Heart 💜 and the fans were all heartbroken. But that shows been going on for some years and he wanted written out it’s still killed us. But I know they’re not gonna write this Jack out because this is new I love it too!

This could have been possible but the creators have mentioned it time & again that the characters might have different journey but their ending would be the same as sketched by Robyn Carr. So I am very confident that Our Jack can’t die but if they still chose to do so (though impossible), then I will boycott this show for sure. No Jack means no Virgin River. I started watching this show only for him. ❤️

We need 20 episodes in a season. And we need a new season in January

I would love to see 20 episodes. Waiting a year is going to be tough! Mel and Jack have such amazing chemistry. I heard they didn't have a "chemistry reading" before they were cast but I don't think they needed one. They are perfect together.

Martin Henderson has really improved in his acting as he has matured in life. He seems very natural. I knew of him as a teenager in our school in Auckland and he was always pleasant to talk to.

Best show ever!! I binge watched season 1 & 2 until I was finished and I WANTED MORE! Jack and Mel 🥰

10 EPISODES WAS NOT ENOUGH!

So great! I wish more cast would speak this candidly. Props to these two for answering like they are fans of the characters and being as open as they could without giving away too much. Not every actor answers those questions well. More often actors crack jokes without saying much.

Fingers crossed for season 3,4,5,6,7 lol . Love this show

Mel should know. They need to be honest with each other. This is true love. He’ll tell her. He needs to quit drinking too. Also something needs to happen to Charmaine so that either Jack and Mel get the babies or she moves then Mel un-expectantly becomes pregnant by Jack and she has a healthy baby!

I think Hope is Jack's mum. I think she gave him up for adoption and they reunited later in life. I don't think docs his dad though. I reckon it was before she married doc. Also this show needs more than 10 eps in one season!

Yes. I have been thinking the same too. I even guessed from first episode that the Dr. and Hope were past lovers/couple. So I'm pretty sure Hope is Jack's mother too.

Such a great season 2. Sure hope there’s a season 3. It’s so hard to wait a year for the next one. It took way too long for this season, I had to binge it all in one go.

Ohhh i love them 😭❤ such good friends and they get along so well ! Can't wait for season 3 ! Season 2's cliffhanger really had me shook and crying my eyes out. I don't even think he's gonna die but jeez- Mel finding him bleeding out half dead on the floor, I FELT PAIN 😭

Charmaine is such a horrible character, I don’t like her character interfering with jack and Mel.

I feel that Mel should know and so excited for a season 3 to happen, hopefully!!! Love Virgin River and hopefully Mel and Jack do get married❤

the jokes on you...he actually has an AUSTRALIAN accent ...if you knew what a real nz accent sounds like you would know that. He worked more in Australia so lost the real nz accent...like Russell Crowe has an Aussie accent

As a kiwi, he sounds right in the middle to me, vowels aren't as elongated as Aussies, aren't as short as a kiwis. When he was back on Shortland Street a few years ago for an episode, he seemed to get the nz accent back pretty easily.

You should read the book. As much as I love this tv series the books are much better. I went back and reread them after watching the series because it was nice picturing the characters in the book after seeing the series. I don’t want to give anything away but based on your comment you would really love the books.

@@noramarcum7299 I watched season 1 and then started reading the first book. To be honest, I couldn't complete it. I didn't like it. I think the show-writers have introduced and developed the characters very well compared to the book. The show is way better. There was too much sex in the books and many detestable comments. Thankfully, the show is very mature.

We were hooked on the show after the first one we saw. Watched all of season 1 & 2 in about 4 days. It brought back memories of earlier drama shows like Dallas and Payton Place. Can't wait to see the 3rd season with all the cliffhangers to be explained. It pretty much shows the drama of todays world in a lot of peoples lives.
