What we have to focus on is research proving which is most effective and start with that.. If allopathy doesn't work swith to ayurveda (vice versa) but stay away from pseudoscience of homeopathy

Might be ur just feeling fine for now. Just make a visit to a good hospital and do the tests again . Check if the disease have spread further and if it is do the surgery at once. Haven't u gone through the story of Steve Jobs until now. He had pancreatic cancer and instead of allopathic treatment he went for natural treatment like Ayurveda and the disease worsened. When he went to modern medicine again it was already late.

I recommend Lallantop to invite a well graduated Homoeopatic and ayurvedic doctor for panel discussion. Every science has limitation and benefits and every Doctor know about curable and incurable disease. There are a lot of people who get offended by what he says about Ayurved. But one thing that any sensible Ayurved admirer should also ask is - Why don't big Ayurvedic scholars/departments create a strong research and testing structure to scientifically prove and even improve their methods? That ways even foreign countries will have to start using it. Why are their arguments always based on "personal experience" or "Hamara culture". Ayurved may be a science, but this kind of attitude of wanting people to believe it without question/evidence is surely un-scientific or rather anti-Science.

Ayurvedic medicine needs to prove their efficacy by "double blind placebo controlled randomised clinical trials", and if they can prove the efficacy by that means, it will be said to be working and evidence based. Earth appears to be flat, but actually it is a sphere. People's opinion is not science. It has to be proved by scientific method. People can improve sometimes on unproven medicines due to placebo effect or the fact that their illness may be self-limiting. Giving false hope and misleading them towards unproven methods is not right. Many a times, it delays the process of seeking treatment which can actually help.

U may be correct doctor but I want to share my experience regarding Ayurvedic medicine. In 2018 I had my appendicitis operation in fortis hospital after that I developed bladder infection and urologist prescribed medicine and catheter was inserted and advised catheter for three to six months. And then I consulted Ayurvedic doctor and started Ayurvedic medicine And removed my catheter after one week.. I continued Ayurvedic medicine for one month. And till now I didn't have any problem.

Just because someone believes it works, science will not bow down to it. It has to be repeatable, proven to be not due to self-limiting nature or placebo effect. With due respects and appreciation of modern medicines that have altered and elevated sufferings I would like to differ. I am a Man of 73 years maintaining energy levels of a 40 year old with no ailments whatsoever except some degeneration that sets in due to age and usage. I am a Yoga practitioner and corporate yoga lecturer too and have been taking only Ayurveda medicines whenever required for last 30 years. The Nadi pariksha by Ayurveda doctors is Bang On but that is not to deny the efficacy of modern Diagnostic science which is way ahead. I have consulted Homeopaths and Allopaths too as and when required but have always come back to Ayurveda.

@@jassusinghmrs Because they fear public backlash. They fear anything that we say against our tradition / history is demeaning India. We have to understand it is not. Now, we have this perception that modern medicine is from the west. Its simply not true. Yes, it have intially been from west but it has huge contribution from India. Its ours too. The way a country can move forward is accepting science and scientific method. This is not a "western concept". It is a human concept. Look at the state of Pakistan and compare with us. Eventhough we kept our culture and religion like them , for the imporvement of infrastructure we depend upon science. The green revelution fed India. We became self-suffiecient. The white revelution made India one of the biggest producers of milk. We are top in Pharma. We also lead in IT - Finance infrastructure. At the same time , we didn't leave our culture. But if you look closely development always came through science and research. We had people , visionaries to do this.

I had the same problem in 2020 and took homeopathy for near about one year....no relief and in fact problem become more worse that urine started coming in drops and even after twenty minutes bladder is not emptied .....then I went to Urologist and he operated for urethral stricture ....and now I am fine my bladder is emptied withing 20 seconds.....your father may be taking more than one minute in emptying bladder.... be sure for that.

English is a global language & has way more global scope compared to hindi so naturally everyone prefers English over hindi. Learning Hindi only makes sense if you want to do a job in North India. My experiences is quite different from Dr. Ravi's statement. Yes there are several myths. I would like to say that his opinion that Ayurveda is a pre-scientific era practice. In certain areas Ayurveda is still much better than Allopath. One my relative was suffering from sponlitis from last few years but there was no cure in allopath. Only six moth back he started Ayurvedic and is 90 % cure. Being influenced by his experience I took my wife to Ayurvedic treatment for hyperacidity who was taking esmoprajole front last five years but only temporary effect but now she is o.k. For abusing homeopathy your statement are criminal. First homeopathic medicines are given in alcohol but the alcohol in a dose of homeopath is not more than 1-2 mg. I am surprised to know that you have no basic knowledge of how homeopathic medicine are made. In limited time and space I can't explain my experiences with homeopath. In short I can say that in certain disease it works like magic for example wart. Yes there is no proper explanation as what is the mechanism of action of homeopathic medicines. I am not saying that allopath not a modern science. But in Allopath the principles of Allopath is clear and based on long trials but your belief that you know about every system of medicine is not acceptable and you have proved it in your statement about use of alcohol in homeopathic medicine.

My daughter was about 5 yrs. Old and suffered from any disease. After some treatment our doctor sent us to a cancer hospital. We met there a lady doctor. She inspected the child. She told us to take a Ayurveda syrup and said not to tell anyone. Bcoz she is allopathic doctor, can't recommend any Ayurveda medicine. I always thank her from my core of ❤. My daughter is fit and fine.

All this is anecdotal evidence, with benefits from placebo effect/lifestyle change. If you have any scientific evidence, please share. Otherwise ask doctors/ayurvedic physicians to do a double-blind large study and prove the benefits of its therapy.

Whatever he is saying is logical and correct to large extent. I myself being yoga practitioner will not hesitate to accept , not to say much but even the treatment of famous and legendary Yog gurus in India get their treatment done in the big hospitals only that too secretly 😊😊. Regarding Yog what he is saying is something that needs more attention for example all the famous celebrities who does yoga also adopt major changes in lifestyle and diet which result in the success. It’s unfortunate to see Yoga is being sold as one stop solution by so called gurus who are deceiving the followers. How can one do yog without Yam , Niyam and Pratyahar. For Homeopathy i would say he is wrong, i got benefitted from Homeopathy on my allergy rhinitis, where everything fails

Nice discussion over alternative medicines and their side effects as most of us thinks that herbal medicines don't have side effects but i have seen myself in my family getting serious side effects of herbal medicine. Vaise bhi tab hum jo khate h vo nuksaan kar skta h to medicine bhi kar hi skti h...khana bhi aaya to plants se hi h. H to vo herbal hi.

@@fitnessvandana Are u mad or wat, that man is denying every alternative medicine therapy except allopathy. As far I know allopathy is best only in surgical cases, allopathy doesn't have a cure for most of dieseses including Diabetes,Hypertension,Kidney problem,Liver problem,Thyroid even common कोल्ड can't be cure using allopathy. Allopathy is all about controlling symptomes of any dieseses. One can easily control bp,sugar,hyperlipedemia etc just by life style changes and by correct foods.

Bhaisab ne western medicine kee training lee aur unko baaki saare traditional medicine Aatmgyan aisa hua kee pure confidence se saari cheeze galat bata de rahe hai. Jo bhi cheez western medicine ko samajh nahi aaya usako galat bol do. Bahoot sahi 😂

I am not into ayurveda but he is dismissive carte blanche while latest science is looking at it and scientifically looking at it.
