Viral Tiktok crochet bikini tutorial | Must have for summer 2023!

I highly suggest you watch the whole video BEFORE you start this project so you get the general idea of the process. There are also different variations of how to make/assemble it so that is up to you!

Written pattern explanation for those who want it written:
I made 85 flowers/circles for a size small!
Abbreviations:
CH = chain stitch
SC = single crochet
SL = slip stitch
Equipment / Tools:
* 2.00 mm crochet hook
* Yarn or tapestry needle
* Scissors
* Sewing thread
* Measuring tape
Materials:
* Whatever yarn you have laying around. I used what I had and it was a mix of different yarn weights
Pattern:
Start off by making a magic circle
Round 1:
Crochet 6 SC into the circle, pull on tail to tighten magic circle
Round 2:
2 SC into every SC from previous round, all the way around.
You should have a total of 12 SC by the end. Do one more SC into next SC from previous round, you still have 12 SC
Change colors
Round 3:
SC 1, CH 1, SC 1 into same SC from previous round. All the way around. SL into first SC form the round, CH one. Cut yarn and pull tough loop. Cut off all yarn ends, then weave them in.

I would have used the yarn end as well. I think it would be much more stable and durable. But it’s a lovely idea.

she used a bunch of scrap yarn (at least that’s what she said on tiktok), i’ve been doing this with different weights of cotten yarn!
I know you said that you can wear it in water, but does that mean pool water? Because I usually swim in an algae-filled great lake haha
So for the second color, its SC 1, CH 1, SC 1 in each SC from the previous round?
