In my region even if a child is born with little dark complexion immediately he would be referred or named as KALU(mean - black) we Indian never knew the meaning of racism until we were on social media.

@@Theboriaquatic yes Bahadur is a common name for Nepalis and mostly in those times it meant watchman which is even more degrading than Chini or Nepali. I'm from NE and I get the Chini Nepali all the time. I hate being called that but I can tolerate. But if someone would've said Bahadur I would've gotten into a fight and broken a few bones in him/her.

It doesn't matter.....I love south Indian people's beauty .... And they have the most beautiful Eyes in the world.....And we have many "ism"s to deal with .....So Racism should not be affected in India......And this social media world exposed us to know about Racism worldwide ....But no need to apply in our society....We used to make fun of each other lightly in childhood.....And that fun is not harmful or brutal like any other country..... Sometimes , that would make our friendship more unbreakable forever....So this racism concept should not be enter in our India

Yes thats so correct. Actually Indians in general are not racists. Its just a race curiosity that may appear racist. Most of the time it is out of mere innocence or at the max curiosity turned into joy and fun, but never intended to insult the other human. Thats the reason why we Indians are never uncomfortable seeing guys painted black in that Sridevi song.

All we can do is try to teach those people and hope they learn. I have met a few people from the northeastern part of India and they were pretty cool. Most of us will love to have friends from the north East , please don't think all of us act the way those idiots do.

You have GOT to see the full special on Netflix. It's absolutely amazing and one of a kind - I don't believe the format in which he performed, shot, and edited this was ever done before.

That was an awesome-2 video. Loved the video, it's content and your reaction.

I think indians are normal towards seeing a darker skin / black people. Funfact is LORD RAM & LORD KRISHNA, the two avatars of LORD VISHNU were born with darker skins. I mean i personally have grew up with black skins as my friends around me in school. Yes at some point they were made fun of (not by me), but i totally am against racism, and whether its any kind of racism, say skin, relegion, caste, etc.

Hello rick and korban I've been watching your youtube channel for a long time, and I really appreciate your efforts to help different cultures to get exposed to the world. I am sudanese, Sudan is on north eastern africa.we were ruled by the army for 30 years of suffering, killing more than 10000 sudanese at darfur on the name of racism, starving even though Sudan was named the basket of world's food. Till 19th of December 2018,we decided that we don't want a martial government so we started a peaceful protesting against a dictatorship.. Yes we were killed, we faced tear gas, bullets of guns, snipers even DshK (anti-aircraft heavy machine gun), but we never lost hope. 6th of april 2019 we organized a sit-in infront of the army headquarters seeking their help to get rid of the dictator more than 10 million sudanese reached their. At the 11th of april the president was arrested and the army again took over the goverment We did not leave the sit-in, because we wanted a civil government... 3 months of continues sit-in was ripped in 1 hour after a sudden attack of about 1000 solider by bullets and canes... 280 martyrs, more than 1000 missing, more than 10 girls were raped,so many were missing were found with memory loss because of this terrible attack.. But thank god now at the date of 18th of august 2019 a civil goverment took over power and finally we are free... All of this is a background of a song called Civil, freedom peace.. This song explained our feelings so deeply. Me and all of my people will be more than happy if you guys reacted to this song,Which is gonna be first ever reaction to a sudanese song... I wish he is listening to u guys , I attended one of his show at Chennai n it was fun but like us said Ted talk , I had to sit attentive n alive through out coz there was so much going on that I didn't wanna miss any of it though it was a bit hard to follow n laugh n follow n keep doing it for an hour 😜

ANURAG KAUSHISH, a sec ?? I have seen people staring at white people, both in the big cities, and the smaller towns ! Some even ask for selfies, the polite ones off course, but the other vast majority just take pictures even without asking !! I have seen it with my own eyes dude !! And it was so damn uncomfortable, and when it is a white lady, I need not say anything more !!
