Thanks, yeah they need a little work from time to time to keep them running good. I enjoy tearing them apart and rebuilding them.

Hi Mark! Saw you live on SVR last night. To avoid breaking bodies what I do is leave the body clip attached to the body all the time. To remove from the chassis just slip a small screwdriver between the clip and the side of the chassis. First one side then the other. If you do it that way the body doesn't have to flex as much and is unlikely to break. Obviously referring to SG+/Viper type cars. Probably works the same with MG/MG+ that use a clip but I don't remember since I have stayed away from those for quite some time.

That's a smart way of doing it, seems the clip always stays in the body any way most of the time. Thanks!

@@marksslotcargarageanother little tip is this; if you have a body with damaged mounting tabs you can glue a body clip in place and that eliminates the problem. I wouldn't recommend "super glue" type adhesives though. I like to use 2 part epoxies that are made for "difficult to glue" plastics. Properly done that's permanent. An alternative is to use contact cement type adhesive that can usually be "undone" if desired but I haven't personally tried that. Modern plastics can be tricky to work with.

@@jeffnorbert1871 fortunately I don't have too many broken bodies, tabs or otherwise. I usually do use a screwdriver to pop them off but the few times I don't is when I seem to pay the price. Is it easy enough to get the clip on the chassis when it is permanently clued to the body?

Sure it goes on and comes off just like F1/Indy bodies.

You never remove or install the arm without using a tool to spread the ears in the endbell.
