Honorable guruji Shri S N Goenka Ji was
born & raised in Myanmar (Burma). He learned this
technique of vipassana meditation from his teacher
honorable Sayagyi U Ba Khin.
After receiving training for 14 years, Guruji settled in
India and began teaching Vipassana in 1969.
