I had to laugh watching that video. I was in Paris in 2019 by myself for a one day layover on the way home from Germany (my wife flew Lufthansa from Munich straight to LAX, but I booked my flights separately on a different airlines and flew to Paris, had a one day stopover, and then flew from CDG to LAX). There was a Paris Baguette on the corner of the block where my hotel was and no other boulangeries right around there, so I went there TWICE to get something to eat. Croque Monsieur once and I forget what I got the other time. The amusing thing is that it is a KOREAN chain, not a French one!!! And there’s one or two here in LA, but not anywhere near me, so I've never gone (not worth driving half an hour to 45 minutes and then having trouble parking just to get a good baguette or French pastry). Also amusing is that last time we were there was before Christmas 2022, and I got COVID (I think on the RER B from CDG to Chatelet/Les Halles) and wound up sprawled out on the sofa in the hotel room watching the FIFA World Cup finals (in French) and watching France sadly lose. Many, many years ago (1994), I actually was working at the FIFA World Cup games when they were here in LA (I wrote the software that tracked the employees and handled their payroll). I had all access credentials and could go anywhere (including the field), and managed to get tickets for my wife for both the 3/4 game and the finals. Dead center, row 10 for the 3/4 game, which were absolutely incredible seats, and then about row 15 or 20 or so about a quarter way around for the finals, which were also incredible seats (and I didn’t have to pay for them - they got them for me as a favor). I'd been up to the press box there (the Rose Bowl Stadium) many times, and even during some of those games, but I never had a dinner like that at the stadium. I never really liked WATCHING what we call soccer, but always liked playing it when I was in school.

Do you think we had the best conditions to see the match ?

Theo, that was awesome! Those were absolutely the best conditions to see PSG play (even if it was a draw). I love that you had a screen built into the seats to watch the video feed. I love that food culture in Paris is everywhere, even in fútbol stadiums. And I love that you brought a friend who could appreciate the game as much as you appreciated the food. Thanks for sharing the evening with us.
Aller PSG!!!Mbappe!!
