This is the first video is a lengthy series of Colorfusion how to vinyl wrap videos. Colorfusion is a pigmented paint protection film (TPU) which installs without the need for a slip solution. It is extremely pliable, durable, and has nearly all of the same benefits that clear paint protection film has. This particular color is nearly impossible to scratch, scuff or damage!

    Wasn’t until now that I actually realized that there’s a guy holding the camera. I think that’s a sign that he’s doing a beautiful job. Nice and smooth etc. I don’t know, I just really appreciate that stuff. Very professional looking videos you do.

    I'll have to look into it for sure, i was thinking of wrapping in a Techwrap Color then PPF on top of it since the sun here is so bad, Vivvid, Techwrap, oracal they all had issues within a year of constant sun and salt exposure, no issues if there's a PPF on

    This looks amazing!! Excellent job here. Great talk through as well. Just a head's up though, the audio at 9:27 has something weird with it. Overall, very nicely done. This makes me want to wrap my gladiator. Also, what wheels are those??

    I would love to see/hear how it goes with those recesses after some time. Not having to use a heat gun except for post heating would be amazing.

    So since the film doesn’t need as much heat to stretch does that mean it should stay down better? So less lifting over time?

    What’s the difference between wrap and coloured PPF?

  • @CKWraps

    @CKWraps

    2 ай бұрын

    Good question. Colored PPF is the same material used as clear PPF which the most exotic and expensive cars have. It self heals from scratches, remains very elastic, has a much longer lifespan, and holds up much better to stones and debris thrown at it.

  • @Elmospiece

    He may answer but if not, it’s probably safe to say he used a majority of the roll, and as I learned, I create way more waste than him. 😂 so always better to get a little extra if possible. Also some colours/manufacturers only sell certain lengths ie. 60ft or 50ft while others can be available in shorter lengths. I’m no expert like he is so take it with a grain of salt.

    Do you really consider yourself a pro? You need to tape the door from the inside first, if you don’t know. And what kind of edge cut is this? you need to wrap the edge. You babble more than you do quality work.
