WOW THANK YOU very much for the shout out, appreciate it, I had and have had now some great feedback on the Yes Tor video, good to know peeps liked it. As a 'valued regular' (smaller to medium) I'm with you on just about being able to have one radiator on! Don't feel bad about the thread Martin, I tried to start one that literally noone did. It was meant as a test and everyone failed!! but hey ho we move on. I am sceptically about Wet Leg after all the hype they got. Your Spanish Rhapsody video has to be up there for sure., Cheers 👍

Thanks Stevie you've been very refreshing to us watching normal videos and the livestream too, humour appreciated and understood. I'm a bit same with Wet Leg it could be one of those one album wonders. Threads and comps are odd beasts. Rachel has given me shout outs and plugs but America mostly resists me we are far more British enclave in VC. Probably all round I do prefer it that way but I get a bit peed off when average threads or people showing tons of stuff do well, often they fade and I've survived a decade now few times I nearly quit.

Toot! Toot! Happy new year, Martin. Good tag, mate, always good to some of your left field pick ups, and some old favourites. I love that Jah Wobble & The Invaders of the Heart album, but I've only got a 12" single of Becoming More Like God on vinyl. There's a great 14 minute remix of the single on that. Finnish punk-jazz! Nice, I can only imagine how nuts that is. Hed

Chill out is great man. It used to be our after-club go to album back in the day. I still play it early summer each year( that's if we get one in England), I get out the deck chair and listen to chill-out a few times, it helps me welcome the sunshine. I actually have it on CD because I found it very cheap in a charity shop and it's good not to have to turn the record over half way through. I always wanted the space album that Caulty and Paterson did, I've heard it on KZread it's amazing, but I doubt I'll ever find it. It's £200 plus online even on CD, and the CD's suffered bad from yellow oxidizing and they were heavily bootlegged so you would have to be crazy or loaded to buy that, I don't think I've ever seen a copy of the vinyl for sale. Just found your channel so subbed and liked and will watch when I get the chance mate.

New year felicitations! Well done on doing the 2024 vinyl tag so swiftly. An unusual bunch of records here. I particularly like that Spain double Flexi disc. That Yes Tormato video should have won a BAFTA, if there was a vinyl community equivalent. You showing that Church LP reminded me I must find more by them. I have three of theirs and love them. Cover to FLK is a nod to Pink Floyd "atom heart mother" and I would imagine the title "we know where the time goes" is a nod to Fairport Convention "who knows where the time goes" which is from the album "unhalfbricking", I don't even like folk music very much but that album is awesome. Probably telling you stuff you know already lol.

Hi Martin. Now that's how to do the vinyl tag. First person in the world to post a video and 1.2K+ views. Really great conversational approach to the questions ... I did watch your video on the TV a couple of days ago, but couldn't leave a comment then ... That double flexi disc on the subject of Spain was so you. The only thing that could have made it better is if it was about Finland ... In my imagination I can hear 'The Narnia Suite'. I need to see if it's on KZread in order to compare my imagined version with the reality ... I've been to Milton Keynes a couple of times - to see REM and Blur live. It was a bit of a trek by car ... Rob Walker said he might collate all the dinner party guests to see who is the most popular. If he doesn't do it, someone with a lot of patience could do it and come up with an interesting video. Martin Luther King is an inspired choice. I would want to sit back, listen to his voice and get tingles down my spine ... I heard 'Chaise Longue' on the radio last week, and it still sounds absolutely great ... I'm right in the middle of reading Alan McGee's autobiography. Loving it. Primal Scream have just won the first Mercury Prize for 'Screamadelica', and McGee's drug intake is reaching epic proportions.

I went to REM one of the days at MK bowl (1995?) I got in there extremely quickly 😁 because if I'd dithered it'd be February! I have a friend who's written a book about Flexi discs it's on the Johnny trunk website. He has tons of records. All over the place. Once I get going I'm a chatterbox but thanks for compliments. I'll check my stats but I suspect the view count is higher because sometimes you go through the recent videos and even one second of someone stopping counts as a view. It'll tally the averages, doesn't bother me I'm happy if I get three figures per video (100+) ish.As previously said I reckon some of my 400 ish subscribers from yonks ago are long gone ⚰️

There is few very small teams (part time, amateurs) still left in it now. The town where I live got to this stage once many years ago but now they don't play here because stadium is derelict and club struggles. PJ Harvey would definitely have been an interesting guest. Henry Rollins is always great when interviewed...no nonsense and would possibly hit on Wendy James. Wet Leg were everywhere in 2022, now nobody talks about them..how fickle the music industry is.
