There are many Sea Wolfs on eBay. The ones that are restored / repaired usually do NOT have the correct stainless steel factory band. Many that ARE repaired have cases that were abused by 'shoemaker' repairman in the past. What really is NOT covered here is the Zodiac AeroSpace GMT. These were the ones favored by pilots in the V N war era. Really nice orig. can get costly.

Great review of true "under the radar" watches that have stood the test of time and still look great on the wrist today. BTW the patina on the "thumb nail" image of this video is killer!

Zodiacs are my all time love in watches after chasing for 7 years I finally purchased my Grail a Zodiac Oceanair Z08005 white Dial im still in love! now Im searching for Zodiac Vintage

I believe the 53 Sea Wolf came before the Submariner.

I had the one with orange accent but silver dial bought new in early 70s, lost on motorcycle after a few years.

Another under the radar watches : Nicolet familly, with Armand and Marc and their beautiful skindiver familly ! Marc also worked in collaboration with Breitling and maybe Blancpain on the bag-o-block system

that dial is unbelievable, too bad that now vintage watches are for investment and not for fun.

Would you know of a watchmaker who could restore a ladies astrographic SST? The movement is okay but mystery dials are milky and difficult to see the orange burst dial. By the way owned a Sea Wolf many years ago. Great watch. Now wear daily a several decades old 5500 Air King.

Love my Vintage Zodiac GMT. I do wish it was just a touch larger.

Zodiac are super cool retro vintage made exceptionally well with plenty of micro detailing....l keep looking for gems all over and Zodiac are my no1.... Zodiac Grandrally is a beautiful racing chronograph of the past!❤

I don't collect watches . I have a few automatic s because I like quality vintage anything. I won't buy a new zodiac. I am going to buy a couple new seiko divers for more frequent wear. I found a zodiac square mystery dial at a estate sale for 60bux in 1990. Loses a minute a day keep great time. So I wear it occasionally when I don't don't have a fone around for 30 years. Had it serviced for 250 and the watch guy was shocked that I was even wearing it because of its rarity. It's worth a few k but that's not going to keep me from wearing a wicked time piece. I don't tear things up or lose things so it is cool that it's almost as old as I am.
