I was able to find some examples of this on Google, by typing "Japanese made fire chief tintoy" There were a few variations...your's looks more like a Porsche than a VW. It's a cool piece from your Dad. 👊👨🚒🚒

I saw a police car version of this car on youtube video a few years ago. Body of a classic Porsche 911 is really just and elongated VW bug body. This one defenitely looks more like a 911 than a bug to me too.
