Awesome video, I love my 5000A and luckily mine has the new 6013s already.. One thing I wish my 5000A had was pre-outs.. Pretty sure the 5000X has em the A does not.. Other then that they are very similar.. Little diff button/knob layouts and the dial on the 5000a and under is not multi-color which is a nice look on the X.. Great video and a nice warm sounding powerful old reciever.. Those late 60s / early 70s def have a look to them.

Thanks! I still prefer the 4000 for bang for the buck, but the 5000x is by far the best looking of the bunch.

There might have been some of the bad boards on the very early X's, it was mainly on the A models.
