REAL Snowmobiles....I Miss Them.....Simple and Fun

I wonder how many times that piston went up and down on that ride lol. I want find another single cylinder again.

It would have gone up and down MORE if the primary clutch wasn't so worn out! You can hear it kept bogging the engine down, then I'd have to let off and rap it a few times to get it to back shift. I had only ripped this around in the woods etc before deciding to take it on this run, and in the woods I am always on/off the flipper and maybe hitting 20mph tops. I also wish I had put the cam on me during the leg of the run going to the Rock Tavern- it's a much more twisty, up and down hills around the trees section. I'm sure the late model guys hate it. :)

@@Jethrosgarage do you rebuild those clutches and put new springs in? When I was working/riding those sleds lots that was one thing that really woke them up was new springs but the bushings need to be good as well. The secondary spring is often weak and then they upshift almost immediatley like taking off in 5th gear lol.
