No problem mate thank you for the kind words, also methylated spirits + cotton buds are great for removing old nitro fuel off of engines, chassis parts etc👌🏽

I had one of these 2004. I jist ebayd one for the nostalgig reason. Ill do a restoration too, but ill open the diffs and re grease them.

Soak the exhaust in coca cola, leave it 24hrs and it will be mint mate

Was hoping to see some of the differential as well but nonetheless nice video. Currently restaurating one myself as well. Bought it for like $17 and gotta sort out if it will run again. How much did you pay for this one if I may ask?

use car polish or cutters to clean the exhaust

I had this car and assembled it piece by piece from Deagostini magazine! After a year or two I don't remember the car was finished and a pretty big disappointment! To this day I can't understand why Kyosho made this model. Even with the upgrades such as a bigger exhaust and 2-speed transmission wheel bearings etc, it was a total failure and that is coming from a Kyosho fanboy !As far as the engine power mentioned in this video its a total lie and yo should take it back ! Even Chinese non branded engines were double the speed on the same course back in the day !

I must agree man, the performance of the alpha series is pretty bad. Just doesn’t meet the expectations we have of Kyosho, they can do better and have done better, at the moment I’m running a v one s & v one s 2 with 2 speed transmission. They are fantastic. You’re spot on though, it’s far from being their best product and ultimately was a disappointment, sadly.

@@torquerc4859 Indeed nobody enjoyed that car no matter the age !Compare it with the v one rrr I raced, night and day diffrence ! Also I converted it to electric and still it was a great car as a tc ! Idea for next video !
