The white Kona frame is a super find. Love all the lugged frames in the collection.

Treasure! A whole rack of it! Love to see it. My mate had a Specialized hardtail in that orange shade when we were kids, probably a stumpy or rockhopper I think though.

Hi, how do I get new frame decals if I wish to add them? Thanks, I’m new to vintage bikes and just picked up a early 80s or mid 80s Schwinn Sierra mountain bike.

Is a 1994 Giant Yukon worth keeping ? Also a cobalt grey Gary Fisher Tassajara (2004) .

Hey Joel, a lot of nice frames you have there 👍 I have quite a unique 17 inch Team Marin Frame from 1992 made by the late Tom Teesdale and i dont know what to do with it. My problem is that the paint on the chainstay is chewed up and it has some surface rust. Would it be best to only have the paint on the chainstay restored/redone or should I get a professional to paint the whole bike? I would much prefer the latter as it is a boring black with silver decals and I really like some of the other paint schemes I have seen on some of the other TET Marins out there! But it would be stupid to do if that would cause the bike to be less collectible 🤔 What would you do and how would you spec it? Thank you, from Denmark, for some great content😀

Hey Thomas, I think that if you plan to keep the bike for a long time I would go ahead and get it painted up the way you would like. Repaints can be negative to a sale price but if you get a nice cool paint job vs a basic powder coat etc the value can go up. M900 or suntour xc pro could both look great but I think the spec would have to match what ever you do with the paint.
