Vintage Modern Arnis by Dan Anderson circa1987
This is a library video I had made in my school circa 1986-1987. In it I demonstrate some of the basics of Modern Arnis with my student, Randy Thomas. I had the video digitized and cleaned it up best I could. This particular video didn't have any sound so I inserted Voyage 34 by Porcupine Tree as the bumper music. Enjoy!

You're very welcome.
It's interesting to see the evolution just between what you're demonstrating and how I learned them late 90s. I use the old ones to show principles but the single move versions as the disarms. Between yours and GM Knüttel's approaches, disarms become a real possibility in the flow of things rather than just luck.

Look at all that hair!
It's been a long time but I remember learning those first 12 strikes but I never saw the second series with the butt end of the stick I had some lesson from my instructor who taught Okinawan karate he like to compete in the stick fighting competitions at local karate tournaments and he did very well.

Yep! Back in the day!
It looks like he’s stepping sideways instead of at a 45 degree angle.

When I started Arnis 5 years ago, I was told it was one of the hardest martial arts to learn. My guru wasn’t lying lol
