I'm in the UK but I remember in the 60s a couple arriving by Bristol freight aircraft in Southend airport the nose opened and down the ramp came 2 Indians a Chief and a Squaw Both had stretched hide on the crash bars his with a chief painted on it hers with a Squaw. Stunning bikes they where touring all of Europe and came from Michigan. Everyone was envious.

This is classic cruiser, to look good while cruising. If you want speed on the race track then you ride a sport bike.

@@US-px7wc reason why i wouldn't ride a cruiser is because they are heavy, or atleast look like that and they are not agile or steerable like sports bikes

Ok, a question for anyone: Does anyone know if these were the Indians that were used in the Panama Canal Zone during the Korean War? My dad was an MP and he said he rode escort many time son an Indian, but never said what year or model. My search through the US Army was fruitless, and very frustrating. Any help is appreciated.
