For anyone strugglin', look close and see she took the hair you put *through* the flat iron and pulled it *toward* the rest of the hair wrapped *around* the iron. Very slow movement (and probably high heat) is essential. And she hold the hair just as the iron comes off and bounces it, which is similar to scrunching your hair for defined curls. Hope this helps! Although I prefer heatless curls, I tried this (with some heat-protection spray) and the coils are beautiful. Did take about 5 minites of trial and error to get it right.

This is the only technique that actually worked for me consistently. Took me hours of trying all the others with a straightener but this is finally something my brain can comprehend vs all the weird twisty ones. 😭

@@shwetachandra7136 yes, it does work. I like it cuz it leaves my hair smooth and shiny. 🙂 Just takes awhile to do. I have to let it dry first. So, with my thick hair, it's practically an all day effort. I prefer the wraps 🙂
