Beauty of a restore in 1/48th scale. Decal restoration is top notch!😁
This casting has great detail of the real car. Fantastic job!
Nicely done example of the old U.S. Mail cars of my youth. As always you do a GREAT job on these restorations. Do more of the Corgi and Dinky cars, they are such fun to watch. Thanks Danny, keep'em coming, PLEASE !!
Looks good cleaned up nicely. I love these old cars.
Really nice restoration, Gladys will be proud!
Nice restoration! She is ready to deliver the mail again!....Bill
Looks like you got the decals spot on. Great restoration.
Beautiful restore job. I really do love the 50's-60's diecast and other boy toys from my childhood. So sad almost all ended up in the trash bin. Thanks for people like you who give new life to these old memories.(Side note;my father was a U.S. mailman for 32 years/retired,passed away now).
It looks great! What surprised me is how nice the wheels were before the restoration. The decals look incredible and the color scheme is really nice. Thanks for sharing this.
Another excellent restoration. Looks awesome.
Great restoration! Too many times I've seen restorations turn around and become customs, so it's refreshing to see a TRUE restoration job! You paid extra for the model, sure, but it's worth it just to see it look as it should again.
Very crisp, the paint thickness looks more scale than beforehand, panel lines visable instead of looking like an iced Christmas cake!
Beautiful! Great restoration!!!
Fantastic attention to detail, great work as usual!
Awesome restoration
Absolutely fabulous!
Money well spent. Great looking restoration.
i love these background landscape outros!
Brilliant work, it looks as nice as can be.
The Plymouth turned out excellent ! That's another one I've never seen, I must live under a rock ! Well done ! 🍻
Great drill & tap. Nice grill-work Gladys. Awesome decals and lovely paint job. Deluxe.

I laughed so hard at the Gladys voice. It reminded me of old Monty Python sketches.

STUNNING!!!!
Great job! Love the colors!
And now for something completely different! Excellent job she’s beautiful keep up the good work
This came out great, my favorite of yours so far.
Good to see something else than Matchbox !
In the short period I’ve been buying, collecting and restoring die cast vehicles I’ve come to the conclusion that Corgi are way more detailed than their competitors and definitely my favourite. They’re so under rated in my opinion

There's a good book called Britain's toy car wars about Corgi v/s Dinky and Matchbox. Dinky had to up their game as the Corgis had interiors and working features. Dinky had the Gerry Anderson stuff though.
Wicked looking beast, awesome job 10/10 looks super cool Danny cheers KC
Great job.
Looking good. Great job, and nice car.
great looking resto Danny
I don't think I've ever seen that casting. It's awesome. Great job with those decals!
Great job
Beautiful restoration. The decals looks fine on it.
another top makeover,Danny.
Amazing job! Well Done! 👍🏻
Great job on the Plymouth. It looks really good.
The Mail Wagon looks great instead of giving it a regular custom job you did a good job restoring it back to service and I hope one day fans will give Corgi it's own Wiki site like they with all the other Diecast Car Brands.
This model car is very nice
Very nice. When I was a child, my parents had that very station wagon. Still have a few pictures of it.
Excellent work
Wow , very NICE, car came out great .... awesome work ,,,,,,,,, Mike Espo...
Putting on the decals seems to be the most difficult part of this, and it turned out great!
Perfect, just as I was starting my lunch break.
Top job Danny! These early Corgi cars were definitely a lot nicer than the later castings, hope you can get your hands on some more at a reasonable price to restore in future.
kool , thanx....neat one , real nice Robert
It looks great Danny!🙂

Wow. It looks awesome. Perfect job ;-).
What beautiful piece of work you did on this one, mate. You always do great stuff but you exceeded your normally excellent work and it really looked while you were doing this as if you were enjoying it. Thank you for sharing with us!!!
Best yet looks factory fresh well executed Albert. Love your channel
I would've loved to have had Gladys' job--LOL! Nice to see other other toy car makers getting some restoration exposure! Great job, as usual!
Great job! Love it! 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Sweet resto :)
Loved the Monty Python tribute, I don't what a Yorkshire lady was doing in Wales, but hey why not. Nice restoration.
One of your best makeovers yet. super nice job. KR Jesper from Denmark.
Hi Danny this particular one was produced between 1963 to 1966.,it's the same casting as 219 Plymouth sports suburban, produced between 1959 to 1963. Dark cream body , tan roof smooth wheels, or the same with shaped wheels. Excellent restoration . All the best.
Great job Danny look fantastic Brian Thailand
Nice job, well done. I have several corgi cars awaiting restoration. They are well made, loads of detail. Cost a bit less than Dinky cars and a bit more than Matchbox. Thanks for sharing,
I Like this restoration. I turned out grat . Love to see more Corgi cars
Oooh I were painting grilles agian lol.
Cheers Danny, another great resto! (For me, Sure beats watching endless unboxing vids elsewhere!) I can say that!

Yes i did use Tamiya. The Testors is great as well.
I was born in 1961. As a kid, I had boxes and boxes of matchbox, Hot Wheels, ( based off of the original cartoon which I remember), and Corgi cars. There was a toy store in an early Shopping Mall, and I remember they had older, and different Corgi cars, than in any other place. I remember seeing this one, and one that I REALLY wanted, had a steering wheel coming out of the roof that really worked. I did get a couple of these older models, but never this, and never the one with the steering wheel. I think it was blue, maybe a Ford ❓maybe a Rally car. Anyway, Excellent restoration. 📻🙂

Danny's Diecast Disasters Thanks. That means that I was looking at a new one , at that time. I just barely remember the toy store it was at. 📻🙂
Very cool 🔥🤘🏻, that interior is weird I’m not used to seeing interior like that.

Yeah I'm surprised it was in such mint condition after so much time considering how flimsy it is.
That's awesome Danny. Love the Plymouth wagons.

@@DannysDiecastDisasters yes they did. I think I'm going to look for some.
I also have a nice Corgi car. A Morris LD150 Van. Corgi is a really nice brand, their cars are made to last.
Nice job Danny! I swear you outdo yourself every resto! Even though I prefer Matchbox's, I respect the other brands, Corgi, Majorette, Maisto, etc. Such awesome detail! Way to go mate!
Looks mint
The early corgis are fantastic to restore I'm trying to do a couple right now I think it's wonderful what you're doing I would suggest there was a book a number of years ago out in publication about Corgi and a detailed all the different models you can probably buy it off eBay I thought my for 15 bucks at a garage sale it's cool it details every single model from the beginning in 19 in the 1940s all the way up 21989 it's pretty neat and I can't remember the order of the guy who wrote it but it is one of the best guys I've ever had very thick and like I said I got it at a garage sale or boot sale as you call he's call it in England well done my friend well well done and by the way I do have one of those but it's just the civilian version and I think it's a sub moss green if I believe correctly and I paid big dollars for it

Thank you mate :) Yes the Corgis seem much more sought after, I just got outbid on a transport this evening it was really cool but just too much. I have a similar book for the old matchbox cars its really helpful 👍
great restoration and nice to see a non custom video please can we see more corgi/dinky restorations that would be F.A.B keep up the good work.
you forgot the huge package crammed in the back!
Another Solid Job Danny ! Now if I can find a source in Manila lol !
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼Well done!
I reckon that one dislike is from someone who gets bills from his mailman/ woman lol. As a Dutch mailman, I rather bring other things than bills but sadly, the volume of mail has been dwindling for years now.
That is a really nice restoration Danny, despite the flimsy interior , l got to admit the sterling wheel looks more realistic , as apposed to the 4 spoke version you see on other models 👍
Didn't know the Monty Python 'pepperpots' worked for Corgi...
Turn out really nice! What up next?

Just a comment with a laugh: I've heard "Deck-uhls" and "Dee-cals" but I swear it sounds like you're saying "Dick-oles." It's a nice restoration. I shake my head, thinking about the big collections of Corgi and Dinky vehicles my brother and I had as kids, and how, when were away, our grandmother figured we "didn't play with them anymore" and gave them all away. I don't know if I'd have had the sense to pack them away when I did outgrow them, but had I kept them, I'd have easily made well over a thousand dollars off them.

The post office approves 👍
Nice work, but I'd rather see you make it a custom
