That folding back porch is genius. I can absolutely see why people want to sit and talk to him; I could listen to him tell stories for a long time, too! What a neat guy. LOVE the barristers bookshelves as upper cabinets!

I used to watch the home channel several years ago. No matter how lovely the house was, everyone would turn up their nose saying it didn't have an open floor concept, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. Nearly every house was deemed to need upgrades, upgrades, upgrades. I guess some people came from that generation that unless the house comes completely tricked out at ten times the price of their father's starting house, it wasn't worth their consideration. I think the host's remarks weren't far from the target. She could have said his choice of building materials was quirky or imaginative, or even revolutionary, but to equate them with trash was not appropriate.

I am litterally speechless, but I still think the lad needs a comment, so I can show my appreciation for his spectacular creativity.

This is his “Home Sweet Home”. Our homes should make us smile when we walk in the door. Good on him! Great interview!

I am totally geeking out. All of my furniture is teak and antique and I've been thinking how I would use my favorite pieces for my cabinets and storage. Kenny, your creativity is amazing. I sat up straight as soon as I saw all the wood. I love wood. I like your strategy to use wood but keep the weight down. Oh, my. Collapsible deck roof, my goodness! Ironing board for a table. I'm high without drugs.

I absolutely love this... and especially the fact that he has past generations right there with him, wonderful, warm memories and stories about each one!!! Very cool!!!

I’m staggered. This guy is always ‘home’. As we age, I think that living with warm memories of those we’ve loved is grounding. ❤️

He's like the MacGyver of RV renovations. What a cool guy.

"It's almost as a membre of the family", Kenny you literally nailed it, and now it 's as though you're a part if our family too!😍🤩

I love how he thought outside of the box while repurposing family heirlooms to create a home filled with things that hold so many memories from childhood to present day. Clever solutions that helped create spaces with duel purposes like his bathroom/closet. Upcycling things that others might have just discarded because they couldn’t see the potential or beyond the original purpose of any given item, like the spool cabinet found in his sister’s attic that became the place to store and use his cooktop, spices, pots and pans and anything else needed to create a meal. By removing those drawers he created a space that was the perfect size to house his refrigerator/freezer inside while preserving the beautiful woodwork and carving on the cabinet which goes perfectly with the rest of the antique wood found in almost everything inside of the camper. The foldable porch roof and deck is brilliant along with a way to protect the glass doors at the back of the camper. The antique ironing board that became his outdoor table for cooking and eating is next level while also preserving items from his family. Great job and I hope you have many years of travel and creating more memories out of your experiences.

not only is this a great design, but Kenny also seems like a genuinely fantastic person. you can tell he has a warmth about him that makes you want to chat with him.

Wonderful to see someone rejoicing in their creation and creativity, rather than just how big their solar panels are. 😅 Wishing him many more nostalgic memory filled miles 🤗🤗🤗x

I have watched hundreds upon hundreds of tiny homes on wheels videos including the most extravagant to the extreme basic, and your home is by far my favorite. The use of your history truly makes this a very special build/home. Wishing you nothing but peaceful times during your journey. God bless.

I'm just blown away by the design and all the work that went into this. Best build I have ever seen on you tube. Or anywhere else for that matter. I'm so impressed.

This man’s mind is amazing! He has his family’s spirit forever alive in his creations. He is an absolute genius. Minds don’t work like his anymore.

Best video ever. I love it in too many ways to count. Kenny is a gem, his home is a work of art... And it proves that tiny home living doesn't have to be just for rich people -- in a really inspiring way.

This gentleman reminds me of myself. I used to be so attached to memories and family heirlooms. I’ve since adopted a more simple lifestyle and laugh that my children have picked up where I left off. His build is beautiful. I wish him all the best!

So many people think of things as empty materialism but, they all bting a history and memories... what a wonderful use of all those memorable things...

You see the old adage works, never throw a thing out that one day could be useful to either a new project or someone else's creation. And Ricky has created a home on wheels to be proud of.

One of my top 5 favorite builds. The closet on a ceiling rod that can easily be pulled out of the way to shower is genius!! One of those ideas that is so simple you smack your forehead and say "Why didn't I think of that?"

I bought a 77 Dodge mini travel trailer last year 34,000 miles-that needed to be renovated for almost nothing- and flipped it with what I call "button soup". Recycled material & some paint. It turned out gorgeous- im in love. I have a tiny house on wheels for total approx $1000- I love what he did to his!! Amazing!

Kenny has so much passion as he talks about his creation. It’s obvious that he loves his home and that he has found a great way to combine his memories with traveling full time in order to make more memories. I’m so happy for him!

Not as old as him but I love wooden iron boards, old furniture, crafty useful ideas like the foldable porch and roof. If he were my neighbor, I'd probably hang out at his house for hours just to learn cool new things from a cool old man like him. Live long and prosper!
