It was enjoyable to watch the process of preparing items for sale, setting up and browsing other people’s stalls. The jacket is a piece of art.

Ooh I’m so excited about your chance to sell in person! Would love to hear the breakdown of what the cost was to be there and how you sold. Maybe a quick reel? All the begins the scenes is great! Also love that you highlighted all the other vendors and I plan to go check them all out!

@@AllPutTogether I LOVE the lidded box--almost appears like hammered copper, though I know you said it's wood. So lovely. It's also fun to see the origins of your little lion tapestry, since I've noted from more recent videos how cute it is hanging in your gallery wall.

Thank you! I don't want to wish the summer away, but I can't wait for it to get colder so I can wear it. :)

Lots of beautiful things here Andi. Wish I could have been at the market. Just a tip re wax. Put the items in the freezer overnight... it shrinks, often just falls out in a block, or you can give it a bit of a push with something and it just cracks/crumbles out. Much easier than melting and no wax gets down the plughole to harden and block the sink. :)

I would have totally never thought to freeze it! Way better idea. I know it's silly, but old wax grosses me out so the less I have to handle it the better. ;) Thanks for the tip!

Fantastic video and getting me pumped for my market this coming Friday. I’m dying to know though what is in your five dollar grab bags. Can you give me a general idea of how many items you put in the bag and if you’re putting things in that are breakable do you wrap them up? Can people see in the bags before they purchase them or are they sealed shut? And finally do people ask if they can mix and match the items in different bags, I can foresee that happening lol! Thank you so much for really helping other vintage vendors especially like myself!

Always so tempted to do a longer show. Love the jacket.

I really enjoyed this video and behind the scenes look. Love your finds and style. Very tempted to plan a trip out west (from eastern 🇨🇦) to see this market next year. Also, Bon Ami is French for Good Friend-appropriate name of a household cleaning staple.

Yes, you should definitely come! We have so many amazing thrift and vintage shops in PDX, it would be worth it. And I totally didn't make the French connection to the name. Very appropriate - I love the stuff.

I loved the video and are planning on doing our first one on April 27th. TO say I am streesssssiiiinnnnngggg is accurate. But I will rewatch the video for tips and tricks many times between now and then!! Definitely will try Bon Ami as Brasso hurts my lungs…doesn’t encourage me to want to clean what needs to be done. Again, thanks for your videos, vlogs or whatever you want to label them…they have valuable information in them.

There were so many Kokeshi dolls at the show - I regret not getting more. Although I'm trying to be good about growing my collection, adding slowly. With as much thrifting as we do, we can accumulate stuff fast!
