I have been subscribed for about a month now and seen several dozen of your videos. I like your stat portion at the opening of each one I have seen. But noticed only 2 have had 2 stars for difficulty so far and 100% of them are 5 stars for quality. I was wondering if you have "official" standards you gave yourself to come up with your rating or is it just totally how you feel about the puzzle after you did it? Seems to me there should be a little more variation in the ratings as otherwise they aren't really telling me anything if they are 100% of time excellent quality and about 99 % of the time easy. Would you elaborate of your rating system? If not, still going to watch as I like just about all the puzzles I have seen you do. Thanks for the entertainment.

Thanks for subscribing to my channel and I'm glad you like my videos. I have actually been solving puzzles for many years and almost all the brands have passed through my hands. In recent years, I have only bought puzzles of excellent quality because it is a big part of the fun of solving for me. The same applies to the difficulty of the puzzle, for me a difficult puzzle is one where I don't like the picture. I'm sorry my rating scale doesn't help you, but for everyone the difficulty of a puzzle is relative.

@@addypuzzles I ask about rating system as a matter of curiosity not criticism. I see lots of people rate their puzzles and see we all have personal favorite qualities. My two top priorities are first, that the puzzle pieces hold together and do not slip and slide all over the place making me refit them over and over. Puzzle does not have to be able to be picked up but pretty close to it! Next is the actual subject and colors of the puzzle. I will do puzzles that are not the best subject matter but if they fall all apart, even if I like the subject matter and colors, will not buy that brand again. I am on a tight budget so get most of my puzzles are from thrifts and so knowing the "bad" brands from good ones is very helpful. Thanks for puzzling for me when I am somewhere I cannot get to one myself!
