I have the original twin tub washer from Easy. Built in 1950. You should wait til you are done with washing your clothes, but them back in the wash tub and rinse them for three minutes. Your way there's still soap in your laundry.

It’s overfilled. You need to account for the clothes and slightly under fill the machine, then put the clothes in. It stops it spitting water everywhere. These lived in kitchens and no one was mopping the floor after they were done unless they were overfilling it. Great to see it working though, my gran had one of these while we had the newer 70s model.

To be fair I didn’t have the lid in and even with just a few items mine splashes everywhere. Nice to use though.

Beautiful twin tub Dorian I'm guessing by the design of the hoover twin tub it's circa 1959/1960 I remember most models of them 😊

Hi. I have a later model, but noticed it has a suppressor still fitted, are they or to leave them be, or remove them like the hoover junior, don’t want it to go pop, 😂.
