I was there. Vinnie had us all waiting an hour and a half before we could go in…. then just spewed all these notes. Some like it, but I thought it was dreadful. Especially, after the long wait.

Now I know what my neighbors must have heard all day when I started playing.

Well, the best thing one can say about this is that it’s technically better than we’d heard Vinnie was supposed to be. That doesn’t mean it’s GOOD, just that he has regained (or never lost) some technical ability. I’m trying to be nice here, folks 😜

No this is true. When he first resurfaced, those first couple of appearances where he just strummed a chord or two made everyone think he had literally lost 100% of his ability. This at least shows he has some technical ability, just a little sloppy and cluttered but that was always his style.

Just seeing this now. Even though it does sound like Guitar Center at noon on a Saturday afternoon, honestly I am impressed that he got his speed back. After seeing the previous clips of him, he can finally "play" in front of people. He looks a little healthier too, almost like a linebacker version of Invasion Vinnie.

This is what shredding sounds like, for better or worse. This is how the Lick It Up album happened with some constraint from Paul and Gene but the solos are basicly this. They even managed to contstrain Vinnie even more on Creatures. Love it it or hate it. Thing is this, and it's a fact, without this "noise" in 1982, 1983 and early 1984 KISS would have disappeared, never to be seen again as a band. Life is so strange that it can point to a certain time in space and say "this was the time". Because this time in 1982-1984 existed, so could and did the reunion in 1996. Without Vinnie, KISS would have been long forgotten. Did Vinnie save KISS. Yes, probably. That's how history works.

I like what Vincent did with War Machine. I would like to hear him record a studio version, either with supporting players (not a Kiss track), or with himself playing bass and rhythm as well as leads (which he has done on recordings before. He made mention when he first re-emerged of having written the "best album Kiss never did". Sounds like it would make a great solo project if he could be convinced to record it. Ace Frehley really killed it on Deuce!

What he is playing here is absolute garbage. There was a time, long ago, Vincent Cusano was a descent guitarist but not anymore. Search up the live shows of him playing with Felix Cavaliere. Hard to believe this evolved from that!

Nothing wrong with line 6. I've been using their amps for 13 years now. And if you have the patience in going through every detail of the amp itself, you will create some pretty incredible patches. Trust me, I've created about 20 of them from the ground up. Players that are just going to plug in and just turn a knob here and there may not get what they're looking for. You have to create what you're looking for. Patience is the key. In the end you're rewarded. I've been to so many jams where people see that I have my line 6 coming in with me, and they chuckle. That is until I turn on the amp and start playing. Their f****** jaws hit the floor every time.

I've been using a Line 6 Spider III 75 Watt Amp for the past 17 years. Took me a little bit to figure out, once I got dialed in what I wanted....Jaws drop and hit the ground hard. The befuddlement is priceless.

What a scam artist. If he cannot play guitar anymore I think people would have more respect if he just admitted it. Look at him in this video-Standing at the highest point, pretending he's the best guitar player in the venue. Didn't KISS walk out when he did solos? He always just notes that were whaling but nothing melodic unless it's in the studio. The biggest rip off he did was the box set that was supposed to of been released. He blamed the cover work and box set design. It wasn't until at a Konvention fans complained that he released a limited number of them. Cherry Red are releasing a complete Warrior set at a decent price in October.

I used to like VV back in the day. His solos on Lick It Up are still some of my favorite Kiss moments. But this is just a mess. He's not even noodling, it's just hot garbage playing. So sad. The band sounds very good in comparison, however.
