Vinnie Paz is a prime example of a artist who didn't give into the system, didn't sell out, kept on doing his own thing. Respect 👊

One can consider themselves to be a meaningful threat only if they are actively being deplatformed and attacked by the system.

Hip hop got buried alive, archived, you’d think it would decay underground but it actually thrived!
I am 51 now. Grew up with Rap and Hip Hop. KRS One, Public Enemy, Young Black Teenagers, Gang Starr, Das EFX.... you are getting settled with the age. More calm. But as soon as you listen to music like this, your head is shaking again. It's a culture. I love listenening to all kinds of music. But artists like Vinnie brings back some good old vibes!

I feel your comment so much! I always thought I’d outgrow my love for hiphop . You age, you grow , you become calmer and wiser … but you are right, you hear the beat and lyrics and you’re instantly hooked back in . At 40 I realized , I’ll ALWAYS LOVE 💕 MY REAL HIPHOP ! And Vinnie is such a huge part of it .

Rasmus Rømer Immortal Technique actually spits about real shit. Vinnie Paz on the other hand raps about cheesesteaks and crying about being depressed and shit about his dad, it's on par with any other teenage angst song. Dude vinnie years ago I was the orphan on the streets left to die. I came across your shit and you are one of the people who inspired me to want to know more besides what they tell everyone. I made friends with dj Prozac the old one said he knows you. I can't believe how many people walk around like zombies they don't even know how to think for themselves outside what they're told to think and they think they are free. How? Isn't free will involve having a will? You inspire me and I have lots of people who think I'm smart and wanna hear what I have to say about the shit they can't see in front of them. I hope to GOD that armageddon happens to end all the bull shit or I will be allowed to leave this world and find relief because I am not going to try it myself again

Please give this a read if you get a chance. Here is the Gospel (or, Good News): God says that we are sinners and that no amount of good works or behavioral changes on our part could ever make us holy enough to enter into Heaven. God sent His only begotten Son to be crucified on the cross to pay for our sins. JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS(ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES), HE WAS BURIED, HE ROSE AGAIN THE THIRD DAY(ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES) The instant you believe this, God knows it and He saves you. "31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved"(Acts 16:31A) The free gift (Romans 5:15) is based solely upon your trust in what Jesus did for you, and has absolutely nothing to do with what you do for Him. Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” It is that simple my friend to be saved 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 King James Version "15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"(1 co 15:1-4)

If you consider the fact that he's probably got type 2 bipolar, then YES, his line, "I'm a manic depressive, Never get excited at all", makes complete sense. Only ppl with type 1 bipolar go through episodes of prolonged energy and excitement. Type 2 might experience an episode like that maybe once or twice in their entire lifetime, but other than that, its a constant snap back-and-forth from being 'severely depressed' to 'normal'.
