There are so many moments in this clip that turn my brain upside down the little superimposed polymeter from 4:16 to about 4:20 is just... amazing. And very Vinnie. This is why Zappa considered Vinnie to be in a class of his own when it came to feeling, and being able to on-the-fly improv, polyrhythms. I'm not sure there is a living drummer who could have played the parts in Joe's Garage to gloriously.

4.16 what a great groove, reminiscent of Stewart Copeland. Some great stuff in here but would you expect anything else. Not if you've tried to play along to Joe's Garage.
