One of the best scenes of the entire history of television. I still cry a bit whenever I watch it

Van Gogh ... fascinated by the building, technology, other artists ... how to capture an artist perfectly ...
R.I.P Van Gogh. Your legacy will live on through your amazing work forever.🎨
I love ❤️ this scene. Vincent and the Doctor is one of my favorite Doctor Who episodes ever. Tony Curran did such an amazing job as Vincent Van Gogh and he looks just like him. It's amazing. Van Gogh is truly the finest painter who ever lived and one of the greatest people ever.

Mine too. Made me cry.
I stumbled upon this video after watching the film Loving Vincent and this scene made me sob uncontrollably.
I don't watch Dr Who regularly so this is my first time seeing this scene. It's truly wonderful and very touching.
One of the greatest scenes in tv show history.
That is the saddest and most wonderful scenes of all in the Doctor Who universe. I love watching it and crying so much.... It's literally healing.
How beautiful to show the real Van Gogh his work.
I cry every time I see this. One of the best Doctor episodes 🥰
Can you imagine how that curator would have reacted if he found out that time travel was involved? Imagine realizing that the weirdo who cried at your speech about your favorite artist in history was the artist that you praised so highly, and imagine if you discover that your speech made that great artist keep going for just a little bit longer.
Fun fact: his great grand nephew recently quit his job and became a artist/painter himself and is doing quite well! Lieuwe van Gogh. Even looks like a young vincent a bit, in a modern package
Greatest moment of tv. Ever. I come back to this wonderful scene of fantasy every six months or so for complete catharsis. Whatever comes of Dr. Who - thank you BBC for this 3:30 minutes of pure emotional release. Perfect.
I just had a good cry.
This scene itself is as much of a masterpiece as Van Goghs work.
I'm completely obsessed with the Doctor posing in front of the statue showing the slaying of Medusa. He knows that this is the good part, the part where they win a little bit.
Simply beautiful.
Oh this made me cry. Poor Vincent.
Hits me every time!!!! 🙏❤️
A true inspiration that never fails to impress.
I remembr when my teacher played this scene in class about a year or two after it aired. I fell of watching Who when Matt Smith's era began, but this scene was the first time I remember that passion was reignited. Holy shit.
You can see he comes more alive through his artwork. Despite his mental struggles, that’s a triumph❤
It was his bday yesterday ❤
Bada$$$ 😢❤
🙏🏽
❤️🤧
RIP Pete Twamley
The only mistake I can see, is that Vincent has two ears- but I still cried. A lot.
Is that Tony Curran as Van Gogh?

Yep 🙂
So thats where Van Gogh got his ideas for the paintings from ;)
Just realised something, Van Gogh is Dutch, we do 3 kisses instead of the usual 2
The Sony F-35 is such a beautiful camera, I much prefer it to the cameras used in modern day like the Alexa. To me it has a much nicer look.
Could it be, surely not ... no of course not ...
Am sure this is not the original music used in this scene....memory cheating or copywrite issues? ;)

No this was the music in the actual scene

good thing they didn’t travel to 2070, when urban youths burned down the museum

Your life must be drab...colorless. Without joy or pleasure. Stagnant. To be so unmoved.
