Exactly! Anyone who thinks Vincent and others like him are cringe, most likely doesn't actually know the whole story of what he went through, but even worse than that, they're mostly people who lack empathy irl and are incapable of feeling anything deeply. I call them "tarps", every emotion completely slides over them, they can't get depressed because they also don't care enough about anything or anyone.
