And let's not forget that he also not only narrated during the theme song for The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo, but also voiced a fictionalized version himself known as Vincent van Ghoul as well as Professor Ratigan in The Great Mouse Detective. Oh. You should hear him sing The World's Greatest Criminal Mind. It's wonderful he gets a chance to sing, and it's truly awesome that he's singing a villain song. And then there's Tim Curry. Just listen to this and you will hear what he brings that's quite similar if not the same of what the great Vincent Price gives. kzread.info/dash/bejne/rIGApdaGhKaTn5M.html

Agreed with everybody! Although I do feel that a few people (if only a very very small handful) do come close, iconically. Vincent Price could be just as funny as he could be scary, and I think he took it to an artistic level. He certainly was one-of-a-kind! Some pictures of him kind of remind me of Salvadore Dali a little bit. Might just be crazy though if it's just me xD

You can tell this man genuinely loved being a part of that song. Vincent Price is a rare type of legend like Stan Lee where he only became more legendary with age to the point that he's more well-known old than he is young. It basically means his work isn't gonna get any older any time soon.

Vincent Price made Poe come alive for me. I remember seeing Fall of the House of Usher as a kid in the 70s and I was hooked.
